As for the 'strong' half, I really can't see anyone beating T1K. I know they got crushed in the WCG qualifier, but I doubt they were as committed to that competition as they are to this one. KTB are strong as always, but I feel like their cute strategies tend to come unstuck against the remorseless machine that is T1K. Blaze and Blue are dangerous, but I'm not sure if they have the consistency to win in a best-of-five. Anyway, the QF games are all really exciting at least!

I'm making a soft bet that CJB will make the semis this season. Fangirls will faint either way.

B: KT Bullets vs CJ Blaze - CJ Blaze 3-2 Impossible to predict this one and match of the round for mine. I've been really impressed with KT Bullets this season and I think Score is back at his imperious best, the 'immortal score' is back and I'm seriously expecting some Ezreal bans/picks at some point in the series. In terms of the team by team comparison I would say Score has outperformed Emperor (they better not go Captain Jack) and Flame has outperformed Insec but the gaps in skill aren't huge and either could do better on the day. I'm expecting an incredibly close series for this one. C: Xenics Storm vs NaJin Shield - Xenics Storm 3-1 I'm actually firmly behind Xenics Storm on this one, They've found a support cast that can allow their strong AD Carry and Mid lanes to carry and its all just working for them. I also have been really impressed with Pikaboo who has shown some great support play. Najin Shield have looked pretty solid without really standing out. I think Ro8 is about their level right now. D: Samsung Ozone vs CJ Frost - Samsung Ozone 3-2 Both sides have their issues. Dade seems to have found some form lately but he has been patchy at best overall and I feel he could be vulnerable to some carefully selected bans. Dandy stands out to me as the area where they have a clear advantage over Frost, as Helios has generally not been too impressive except when he gets to play his trademark Lee Sin. Ozone will have to contain Shy who continues to be the only player on Frost capable of carrying consistently. I was a big fan of Space but he hasn't really been able to build on his previous season although to be honest, their constant jungle/mid lane problems make it hard for the whole team. Frost's Midlane: Who do they choose? Well I would go with Maknoon personally. I felt that the team shot calling was a lot better with Maknoon and as long as they give him a safe long range champion like a Gragas or Nidalee, I think he will be fine. Yes he has blundered more with Orianna than any other professional mid player I've seen in this season but I still think Frost as a team looked better with Maknoon. GBM's champion pools seems too limited for a bo5 and only seems to impress when playing Orianna. I don't really think we will see Rapidstar again but who knows.

B: KTB 3-0. KTB going for a repeat of regionals. Blaze is better than before, but I feel like KTB has become even better still. Insec in more seasoned in his lane and the trend favors his champion pool + pocket champions, giving him a more solid presence in lane matchups. For funsies, Ambition goes 1-2 in giving First Bloods. C: Storm 3-2. Why? Idk. I only lean towards Storm slightly, so that's how I'm calling it. D: Ozone 3-1. Frost lucked out of their group that had both Jin Airs and yet couldn't sweep the two sets against them. I don't think Frost has found themselves yet.

SKT 3-0 KT 3-1 Storm 3-1 Ozone 3-0 I think Storm is the only team with the potential of upsetting SKT. SKT's style is too practised and perfect vs every other top team

B: Blaze 3-2. I think that even getting to the quater finals will be a huge morale boost for blaze, KTB is known for flopping when having hype, closest match up imo. C: Storm 3-0. Easy for storm, they just seemed better during group stage. D: Ozone 3-0. Frost has good players but they still don't work together for whatever reason, players probably overhyped-madlife isn't the best support in korea by a long shot, shy is still solid though, helios sucks compared to the MLG arena blaze performance where he looked like the best jungler in the world, maknoon might be okay but it seems like he's extremely scared@mid tbh he should play engage champs like malp, space is just bad compared to other ads. Still don't belive in any mid laner they can field and the whole ozone team has been getting back on form.
