Getting 5k behind Vulcun. Losing to Gambit. Ozone is supposed to be one of the favorites to win the whole thing but they just looked bad tonight. I'm willing to entertain the idea that maybe they underestimated their opponents. Maybe they're just having jitters/playing off or have jet lag or something. But if the rest of groups starts looking like this I think we could safely conclude that either Ozone was overrated or Korea's skill level was wildly exaggerated.

Dendy then goes and camps top for like 90 seconds as if to countergank even though it shoulda been kinda obvious that Diamond is not gonna gank there because of the 0 ward business. Unless he tried to call the doublebluff, but w/e. Diamond farms, which is why he is so good. Dendy tries to countergank middle, but has level disadvantage because he's done fall all game. Level advantage > element of surprise. Snowball AKA: Gambit Meteos'd Ozone.

but wtf is with this "disrespect" accusations towards the korean team that lost? From what I understand this is a big tournament that has the biggest prize pool of the year that everybody wants to win, do you guys really think they're picking things that are bad on purpose to disrespect the enemy? doesn't make any sense to me.

Also darien deserves some respect, it's so easy to just whiff taunt right away and vayne easily tumbling out of it but darien when he was chasing imp down was so patient on the taunt and so on point with them so that he actually did kill imp's slippery vayne, it was impressive.

I did see it, they fooled around after reaching the nexus. It wasn't relevant at all to their chances in this group. I'd say they're very close to Gambit's level and people are severely underestimating them based on today. But it happens at every tournament, people draw crazy conclusions from day 1 Bo1s and then change them as it goes along. They have better chances at top 2 in Group B than LD or TSM have in Group A.

Yeah I edited my post. I rate mata higher as a support actually, but just not mechanically wise.

You mean Meteos Diamondprox'd NA? Give some respect. Gambit are the "Dark Horse" because they jack themselves off for EU LCS and All Stars because like Ozone they have no respect. But in Big Time LAN like the strong CIS LAN tradition, they bootcamp and come out for serious business.

After that game the handshake happened and Dade wasn't paying attention/didn't know what was going on so he didn't shake hands with 4 of the members of GG, when he did realize whats going on he got up and shook the closest persons hand and then bowed which people didn't fucking see because they were already making butthurt comments on forums.

It's people blowing the whole hand shake at the end out of proportion. Korea isn't used to hand shakes where as NA/EU both do so. Once some one told them of it they shook hands and even bowed.

Really fantastic day 1 though, some really quality games led by OMG vs SKT, competitive standings, great analysis desk and no major hiccups in terms of production. I can't wait for the rest of the tournament.

The tri-force, whatever it does, did win genja lane by a big margin, and if you told me before worlds that genja voidle would maintain a 10+ cs lead on imp and mata I wouldn't have believed you. Also darien deserves some respect, it's so easy to just whiff taunt right away and vayne easily tumbling out of it but darien when he was chasing imp down was so patient on the taunt and so on point with them so that he actually did kill imp's slippery vayne, it was impressive. Kogmaw triforce isn't bad, and kogmaw triforce certainly does have huge presence in lane. Genja's builds are overrated, but credit to genja for adapting, and this one isn't half-bad. Don't listen to lift who is shit.

I've never see that kind of low reward high risk in OGN, especially in the top teams. Sometimes you'll get high-risk, high-reward in skewed matchups but that is to be expected.

He's talking how ozone nit showing respect to their opponents by not playing well. Imo ozone prolly let their ego get to their head. They played sloppy and took risks they shouldn't have.
