Most important and exciting games of the split -> fewest viewers of the split.
At the same time twice as many viewers for NA games that didnt mean anything.

I watched all of NA yesterday. I also woke up for the first game of today. So far, the first game of today was about the same level of play as any game yesterday.

As in I wished I hadn't watched any of them.

I just want to see two teams take one game this weekend seriously. Because every single game this weekend has either been a one-sided stomp or a troll game.

It is just that LoL viewers seem kinda stupid. Also last split tons of viewers for pointless league games, and then fewer viewers for playoff games that actually mattered. I just dont get it.

It's not even the Karma pick alone, it's the fact that ATN's team is severely lacking damage and is a little on the squishy side....so you pick a squishy utility caster to fill in your last spot?

This team is 100% reliant on catching people out. Its teamfighting will be just awful.

Those hoping for the all 14-14 tie are well on track just from the team picks.

I seriously don't like the constant vi/kramer from atn I'm yet to ever be sold on either of them.

I was thinking about which team I want to miss playoffs next to MYM. Atn is really the only one where I would be kinda ok with it.

always good to see some different champions being picked...until they start sucking and remind everyone why they are rarely picked lol

What really annoys me about it is that it was a last pick Karma. They knew exactly what their team was, what the opposing team was, and what they needed to round out the team. But they didn't care about any of that, Kerp wanted Karma, so they picked Karma.

After the pick, I rolled it around in my head, and gave it the benefit of the doubt -- "Ok, their teamfight is going to suffer, but they can possibly catch people out. And hey, ranged caster, maybe she'll be able to bully out Yorick. Maybe he figured out the counter."

*looks at farm numbers* ....nope. Kerp just wanted Karma, and didn't give a fuck about the comps.

As mentioned several times before, there's too much solo queue mentality in some of these teams. The Karma pick in this game and the Wukong in the last one are perfect examples.

2nd time it's been in the LCS, and you can tell from how the team played with it that they haven't scrimmed with it much. It was a nice choice, and he played it extremely well in the early game where individual skill matters more, but once the teamfight phase started, you could tell MYM was completely disjointed -- they're not used to Czaru being an initiator, and their teamfight suffered terribly for it.

Does ATN have an analyst? It seems that mechanically they're strong but their decisionmaking and picks are very questionable

Well they made many mistakes late game, but I dont think that was dependant on champions. It was just bad decisions period. If they had derped just 1 time less they would have won it.
