I've been thinking for awhile that machete is not really a "must have" on the game starting buy. Seeing a bunch of Doran's stuff has me thinking. I don't like having it provide absolutely nothing for early ganks.

Lissandra has little trouble farming underneath turret.

Coast needs to shut down Kassadin. Should maybe have sent their ad+sup mid instead of bot

Zion was really quick in catching up to Voyboy's farm. Crs left him alone for two minutes and he gained ~20 CS on Voy

I've also watched trick and have started doing the boots 4 start in jungle.

Considering absolutely no one else gets boots, you'll out run just about anyway and it makes getting ganks off pretty easy.

Plus the general very basic path is smiteless blue -> smite on red -> gank, and you really don't need machete for that.

I don't understand Curse's composition. If they picked Nasus to push the waves, why did Cop pick Ezreal instead of Caitlyn? If Nasus was picked to bring quick global gold, why did Voyboy pick Kassadin, a champion that's heavily dependent on jungler care? It just seems really odd, Curse looked so much more promising before, now they're just a mess.

A lot of NA teams are just flat out terrible at ban/picks phase of this game.
Curse is obviously one of them. I'm with you, no sense made.
The Ezreal, however, was in anticipation to DayDreamin's Blitz.
