I think it actually was the summer lesson he did alongside Watch. It's not hard to imagine why he said that, too. I mean, theoretically you can coordinate all your burst in your team so well that it works as one huge 2k damage smite or something at one second, if you were to do it perfectly in theory. Which could give a 5 man team quite an advantage over one single Lee Sin coming in to smitesteal. I definitely think there is more to it than just "CT smite vs Dandy smite"

Reading the LR for the 3rd place game made me sad I got hyped when SKT1 had a chance getting second in circuit points, but then sadness...

Frost looking just like a completely different team with GBM playing mid. They were so much stronger with him, I don´t think we´ll see Rapidstar again soon.

It still means a lot for their qualification. If SKT T1 wins this season, they are 3rd and therefor will have spot secured in the finals of the qualifier. If they lose the finals, they are only fifth and will have to win 3 matches in a row against first Blaze, then Frost and finaly Ozone to qualify, which won´t be easy at all!

Kinda off topic, but is there any reason to subscribe to OGN atm other than VoD's? Like, is there another tournament coming up any time soon or was the 3rd place match the last one for a while?

they´ll show the qualifier matches for worlds starting next week. But aside from that, I guess not.

Wow, just watched the rebroadcast. That baron steal...

Looking at that last fight again I think CloudTemplar going in wasn't that bad of a call. Shy was coming in with Homeguards so they should have had a chance to engage. But no one really followed up and missing imp just lost them the fight.

Just watched the 5th game of the 3rd place match. Man what a throw by Frost. I think if Ganked by Mom had not failed his Shadow Dash into the baron pit frost would have got baron. And then the strange decisions by Frost afterwards on top, oh man. Kinda tragic.

so frustrating... now even if SKT 3-0's KT and proves themselves the best team in korea atm, there is no way for them to automatically get to worlds. that's really just ridiculous :|
|
They still have a better shot if they win the finals than if they lost to MVP Ozone, since even if they could avoid playing KT and Ozone again in regionals, the confidence from knowing they're #1, and the security of being seeded into the Finals should help them!
SKT hwaiting

The tournaments closer to Worlds should have been weighted more. That's the one benefit of the LCS, Spring Playoffs didn't really matter but at least it didn't give TSM and Coast an advantage of going to Worlds over C9.
|
so if SKT wins then Ozone is in Worlds and if KTB wins then KTB is in worlds and Ozone has to play probably SKT for the 3rd spot?

Well, if they are the best team in the world, they can always get through the regionals.

The frightening thing is if SKT and KT are the 2 best teams in the world, and one of them don't go thanks to Frost throw.

Ozone, SKT and Bullets are best in Korea.
Frost probably need a new Jungler and either more time with GBM or an entire new Mid Lane as well.
Blaze could be in the same S-tier class as the other three, but they need new strategies and maybe a more reliable ADC. But their major problem is how predictable they are.
Word is still out on Sword. Obviously they didn't do well this season, but they were a team welcoming in a new Top Laner. They also seemingly have phased out Ssong and are moving towards their new 7 foot tall, Colossal Titan Mid Laner who seemed to do pretty well in the NLB finals, If Expession and their new Mid Lane can work out, they could challenge for the world title.
