With next to no practice time, we could be about to witness for the sloppiest week of the LCS ever. Expect to see old teams look sharper but we could have one last week of aTn & MYM dominance before the other teams return.

I don't know about expecting the old teams to be sharp. If there's one thing that LCS has proven is that seniority means little in a weekly setting.
Biggest issue will be how players to 3.8 with minimal practice.
I'm not too keen with how Riot set up weeks 1 and 2 at DH and Moscow. That feels like a lot of travel that is going to have an impact on the quality of the games. Not only with the lack of practice but also due to the major changes brought on by the patch.

To expand on that (because I really like to hate on this stupid Moscow trip):
Teams already had barely practised before Dreamhack because when they wanted to start with their preparations they had to leave to get visas. For example SK Kev1n wrote their whole season preparation comprised of 5 games.
Now they left Sweden on Tuesday, and travelled to Russia on Thursday. So some teams had the luxury of 1 practise day. Some players though had to fly to their home countries on Wednesday again to finally get their visa. Therefore their teams could not play a single scrim between Dreamhack and Moscow.
So most likely the teams that sucked during DH will still suck in Moscow.

Oh I agree, I guess where I meant sharper I meant more like NiP's last game than their first game. They'll still be shadows of their former selves.
As for the Moscow thing, according to the Readmore interview with Kev1n they found out about 2 and a half weeks before that it'd be in Moscow and before that there were other places being discussed. I'll be amazing if every player gets there ok. There's a whole borderless EU to pick from and they choose Russia...

I checked all the teams facebook and it seems like almost everybody made it. Several got their visa on the last day before the flight. Tabzz from Lemondogs still doesnt have it though. Looks bad for him and his team.
Although on a second thought, I doubt Riot can give LD a loss if Tabzz doesnt make it, because this is not their fault. They would have to postpone their games I guess.

SK vs LD has been postponed. Supposedly to be played on Saturday.
Only read that on reddit though. They didnt say anything in the broadcast.

I would not call that allowing but forcing them to. Doubt they would do that though. Would be too unfair to LD and people would really critisize the Moscow trip then.

Anything that isn't a team's full roster will be Riot's fault if teams are forced to play.
But I don't think it'll come to that.

Nope games are actually more important than the LCS ones. Also more entertaining than some LCS games (except the 3rd one).
