And after getting fed he cannot even carry unless his team is ahead.
Watching the Weixiao game against IG really opened my eyes about the limitations of blue Ez.

That's already what we see so I'm confused what you mean. Blue Ez nowadays is just BT, Muramana, Gauntlet, and LW. Not sure what you think would be different about a "Red Ez with Muramana and Ice born".
You'd be surprised how rare BT is in blue Ez build. Only Doublelift really does that.
Mostly SotEL first.

After the nerf I really only see SotEL first in solo queue, in most progames the Ezreals have been skipping it

can someone tweet riotlykaeus(or however you spell it), and ask him to remove the score board during fights more often? He has been forgetting to do this recently. It's why we missed that Link TF porting in edge of fights a lot. Also, I do not have twitter.

Well, this is only theory crafting, but how does this sound to you guys for a new Ez build?
Start with Doran's Blade, build into BT. Then from BT, go IE, LW, Muramana, Zerker Greaves and Frozen Mallet.

Honestly, weak. If you are not way ahead on your 2v2 or not in 2v1 lane, the other ad will have exactly the same build but will be better in teamfight/midgame fight. Sure with doran->BT you can't be pushed out of lane but unless you have a way stronger support like a tresh hitting every hook and a jungle to secure kills you will be a generic adc and Draven, Vayne, Caitlyn, Varus, MF does more in teamfight with those kind of build.

Can the IE turn into something else then? I dunno, I just feel like the two big Ezreal builds (Red vs. Blue), both seem pretty meh. One's very all-in and turns him into a normal auto-attack speed ADC, while the other takes too long to build and can be straight-up negated by certain champions/item builds.
