Buying a Doran's Ring is 1) only 1-2 extra damage per auto, even when fully stacked and 2) 75g more than a Long Sword. All he had to do to counter AP Tristana was shield every Explosive Shot, so he didn't need mana regen. Auto-attacks have a 100% AD ratio, and all Orianna did for the most part was auto-attack. | ||

Note that Misaya play really passively cos he knows all Trist can do is burst him. But if he max W there is no way Trist can burst him and he can just auto attack him to death. Also going AD make last hit a breeze and relying on cooldown to actually kill Trist. | ||
