Would be very interesting to see a very aggressive ad with an aggressive support such as Edward.

Like think about Fnatic, when's the last time you remember them winning a game where Soaz, xPeke or both weren't huge? Rekkles. Not fair to compare anyone EU to Rekkles though. For the few months we got to see him he was clearly in the top tier in the world.

Notice that it's not coincidence Fnatic is doing well with or without him. They've just upgraded their play to an overall strong team.

I still feel like he had more impact than yellowstar.

Iirc he never really won his lane and got most of his farm post-laning by having his team hold off 4v5 and/or him getting all the last hits in skirmishes.

As far as laning goes, he was nothing special. The difference with him and a lot of other euro carries at the time is that Fnatic could leave Rekkles alone lane for him to split push, 1v1, make plays and pressure which is something very few other Euro carries do. HoSan does it on Draven, Jimbz does it when he gets Kennen. You might see YellowStar doing it on MF but aside from a smattering of other appearances, it's not a common sight for the european fan. I don't know about other people but I think that Europe's AD carries aren't quite there yet with a lot of teams. They're either too champion dependant or reliant on someone else to make the plays.

I hear a lot of speculations that it's because my champion pool isn't big enough and other silly things. So my champion pool is actually bigger than ever and I can easily play more than 10 heroes on a competitive level. The problem is quite simple. My individual skill level has decreased because i'm not playing enough. At home I used to easily play more than 10 hours a day and now I only play around 5 hours per day. It's a huge difference and i am gonna start playing a more solo queue." - from Wickd his FB. Oh yeah, progamers for sure. Such a disgrace to only practice 5 hours a day. After S2 they already showed that CLG.EU/EG was all practice. Cant win like that. Guess getting too much of that sweet EG money hinders practice. Thats not a curse, thats overpaying your players instead of stimulating them.

This quote is also interesting: Also our teamfights have gotten a lot worse and people feel less confident due to that. That makes it a lot harder to start a teamfight because you aren't sure if your teammates will follow up in time. It's one of the reasons that we make a lot less plays and overall play too careful. It's the same reason why split pushing is so good against us atm. No one in the team feels 100% confident in themself and dislike having to take a 1 versus 1 all in mid/late game. Shows the overall strongly decreased confidence in the team. Basically he confirmed all the points I made earlier regarding lacking confidence and the 5 hours of play in EG.

Being overpayed that is, honestly what bothers me most is that there seems 0 presure on them to perform from EG management themselfs. Getting the big pay is fine and all but if you go down on practice by 50% you simply deserve to be at the bottom of the pool. they should have a look at Gambit Gaming and see what those guys do for money.
