The team shatters due to ego issues.
The team still goes to Sao Paulo but proceeds to fail nonetheless. The disband ensues shortly after that.
Like above but they have a great performance (at least a Top 2) and could be kept if the amateur scene for the S3 is attractive enough for the organization.
It's unfortunate that those are the only options for a team with such talented players. If these were known consequences, I hope they were as prepared as humanly possible for this weekend.
But the best players are in the LCS. Because that's how it works.
I have some knowledge about Millenium, and im quite certain to say that they will not keep the team (I got some insight about what they planned for s3 and I dont think you can sustain an "amateur" team with that)

I think many organizations might think twice about keeping their teams now.
- M might surely reconsider - they had high expectations, failed hard and might now pay the price. - Mouz is another candidate - they've been so quick with hiring and releasing teams, I wouldn't wonder if their contract automatically ends because they failed to qualify. - MYM might be another organization pondering the future of their team, but the lineup is so consistent and skilled, they'll probably keep it and dominate the Amateur series. - Alternate would probably also be a disappointment, however, they should be used to it right now, and might go for the Amateur series as well. - Same with Acer - don't think they ever expected to qualify, though. Expect players like CitizenWayne, Kerp or Jree to be picked up as subs, but still play for their teams. - If LoLPro is still a part of Curse, I guess they'll probably be released. Not like that lineup looked like a team anyway - their members might quickly be picked up as subs, though.
What teams can you imagine getting "bought out"? Like DragonBorn, for example, think Shushei can get better offer from MYM or Mill? @_@ What about aAa? GIANTS?

Yeah, MYM and [M] would probably dominate the amateur scene, easily could make it in during the mid-season.
I dont think that MyM will drop their team, they are part of MyM since.. a long time and they play together in that team for ~2 years or something along that

Teams to be possibly bought out? Well, fnatic obviously won't be, and MYM hopefully won't need to. aAa is fairly stable, but if I remember correctly, Millenium has a history of taking over their lineups. If M drops their team, they'll probably keep Haydal around and take over the aAa squad. Would get them back to the roots, catering more to their french fan base and all.
Wolves, DragonBorns and GIANTS might all be "bought out" at the right price, but who would be interested? They're not big enough for the likes of Azubu, Na'Vi or other big international organizations. Mouz might drop their old squad and pick any of them - but if I were one of them, I'd probably not accept, considering how short-lived some mouz teams were. If Curse, CLG, TSM etc want to (re-)expand into Europe, they might also try their luck. But I don't really see either of those becoming active in that regard.

This is interesting. An eliminated team disbanding their current roster and picking up an unsponsored, but qualified team. Would this be allowed under RIot's rules for the LCS?
Probably due to the fact that they dropped out of d1 but alot of you are forgetting the moneymachine curse^^, I think it's safe to say that they will drop their current roster 100% and probably wanna "buyout" one of the qualified teams.
Wow, not the result I expected to wake up to - congratulations to Dragonborn! Shushei's AP Alistar & Gragas were what got me hooked onto watching competitive LoL back at the end of S1, so I'm happy he's managed to find a team that works for him post-Fnatic. Looking forward to watching the VoDs with a pot of coffee.
Edit: Also, glad I didn't make any pre-tournament predictions on who the top five would have been, yikes.
