It wasn't just morgana, 4/5 of mono's team built the wrong items and couldn't do anything in teamfights

and @ everyone calling Mm bad, particularly zig, you are wrong. They are great players and great solo performers. Zig in particular always is amazing in solo q. They just aren't used to tournament 5v5 LAN!!! play. To put the hurt on Dignitas like they did in all 3 games was incredible, give these guys a few months and they could be winners.

As far as item choices, yeah, they looked pretty suspect - they looked like solo q builds lol. Whatever. Great (sloppy!) games.

Hopefully we'll get to see CLG vs Dig but I feel like they'll stream TSM vs Curse since Curse hasn't had a game streamed. Both are gonna be sick games but CLG vs Dig should be amazing.

I really wanna see Curse play. When Jacky. Pobe, and Crumbzz are on, they are so fun to watch.

Mono didn't just win; they won convincingly.

m5 played with like 300 ping though

Evidence? TSM reach EU with ~100ping.

I reach NA with ~100ping.

My friends reach NA with ~100 ping.

TSM, nor me, nor my friends have major issues playing cross server.

Why is M5 badly effected? :D

I have about an average 170 ping.
And most eastern European countries have way worse intercontinental connection.

300 is a bit much but 220-250 is entirely possible.

Not bashing Mono or making excuses, but don't laugh off 250 ping, it's a lot.

A rough calculation puts Moscow > LA > Moscow at a little over 100 MS only counting the speed of light in fiber (10000 KM between the two cities, more likely 12000 considering its not a straight path, about 5 MS per 1000 KM) a minimum of 200 MS is a fair considering switching/routing/processing speed

You can't assume they were using fiber...

Even if the whole local loop is cooper (and that would only be Russian side, Riot as fiber in their data center with 100% certainty), its only going to be like 0.001% of the path length.

The most absurd comeback. Absolutely ridiculous. That shows you the difference between some really good high elo players (Mm) and a really good tournament TEAM (Dignitas). Still, a worrying performance from Dignitas for any fans.

Not sure how you get a reasoning into the high elo players beating dignitas lanes 1v1/2v2.

Scarra is notorious candidate for rank 1 soloqueue, with another account in the top 25s and voyboy is up there with him. Dunno about the other guys, but i'm sure they're not bad either.

Objective play... well. Dignitas didnt even challenge. they lost their lanes and challenged none of the dragons and 1st baron until they suddenly came in for the second baron and barely won that fight. Well played by them, but i can't understand your reasoning vs their own solo elo.

dig out comped mm so hard. they have soraka and taric armor buff and mm only magic damage is morg. morg does her damage but her long cool downs stop her from doing significant sustained damage. as long dig doesnt let anyone die to morg they have so much armor that the rest of the team cant really do much. you can see the planing in their builds too. olaf build shurelya's into warmogs to take advantage of all the armor buffs and to help get away from morg ult.

That's 5 heals, 4 of them aoe, also mundo ult, and the fact that dig had more aoe for team fights. Then they didn't focus voyboy, instead putting damage into soraka and the tanks. Then compare lee sin to olaf in late game team fights, and lee sin just can't do anything compared to true damage zerg.

Yeah, I feel like CLG and Dig are both stronger than TSM/Curse. It'd be way cooler to watch that match.

Turtle's parents wouldn't let him play LoL at the pro-level and go to Vegas.

What? It's pretty easy to understand. Any high ELO player can win a lane against another high ELO player, but winning a tournament game takes the type of coordination and experience that beating a high ELO solo q player doesn't give. Thus, Mono can win lanes as much as they want, but they don't have the 5v5 chops to take home the games.

What is not to understand.

I tried to tell everyone, but it seems the faith in Dignitas isn't strong with this newer generation.

I really enjoy how much Dignitas members trust/respect one another, because you need that to keep their game together when the situation is so bad.
