Voyboy was talking to Saint and HS on stream and most of the champions he said he felt comfortable with were top-lane bruisers. We might see some Hotshot or Elementz AP mid failure again.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Voyboy solotops for his team (RS) but with how bad CLG is at AP (except for Chauster who will AD, though I guesss Voyboy could AD and Chauster AP?) I think they'll just put him ap mid.

Hmm, guess there's no point in beating around the bush.

Yes, Voyboy is CLG's ringer for MLG Raleigh. Some of you might wonder why not pick an AP specialist (scarra) to fill the role (in a way, like how jiji took up AD and CLG picked up Salce. But there were more available AP specialists than AD, which is why jiji didn't stay AP and just have someone take Chauster's role). Chauster said that they put greater emphasis on flexibility for this tournament. After HSGG's performance at GC, the team has some faith in his AP picks, even if he hasn't tested them out at a tournament level.

Elementz and saint's positions are solidified. Expect Chau, HSGG and Voy to rotate roles depending on their/enemy lineup.
