That should change! So instead of inviting the players they like, they should invite the players you like?

We wanted to make sure we also do have Protoss players in the tournament and I believe invites bring a bit of balance between races / nationality and you can choose interesting people. It could be a bit more but I believe its not bad this way e ither ![]()

In this case an invitation-system is very useful, also with HSC where you want to have players who are comfortable with casting and such, but TakeTV has always been very invite-focused and biased in my opinion. Here I see no problem with it though - there are no WCS points on the line, it's a beta tournament to showcase the new game and Foreigners may very well put more effort into that than the Koreans anyways. I also like the Bundesliga-format, old memories of EPS came up in me after reading that. ^_^

Are you inviting 17 toss then, and let the best zerg beat each other in the qualifier? ![]()

Screened so it can be properly decontexualized and used against you later Yeah, inviting the weak race makes perfect sense here. Even if most of the Protoss will actually lose in the first round. OH I have just found NarutO's secret plan

I know that in terms of organization, invitations are more easy to manage. But i think they're a lot of ways to involve the community to pick even just ten players. And if you're afraid of the current race imbalance, well, one qualifer/poll/KoH per race can be a solution. I dont mind when it's HSC because pple come to your place but here it's a online tournament.

Now there is no good players playing or even trying to understand LotV. The $$$ incentive is good to fix this.
