Today, it was announced that season 3 Vulcun Techbargains star us Zachary "mandatorycloud" Allan Hoschar is going to start for 10th place NA LCS Team Coast. His counterpart, dk Jesse "Jesiz" Le is going back to Europe, according to uk Matthew "Impaler" Taylor.

Team Coast announces Zachary "mandatorycloud" Hoschar will start at Mid Lane this weekend. Jesse "Jesiz" Le has been moved to the reserve roster. The team's recent results have shown that changes were necessary. While it is always difficult to make a roster change, the coaching staff and the players feel this move will help the team. It is important to note that this decision is not related to Jesiz's work ethic or attitude. He is well-liked by his teammates, and works as hard as anyone on the team. That said, the decision was made to bring a player in to this important position with a different play style. Mancloud is already at the Coast gaming house, and practicing hard for our matches this weekend.

So many roster moves these last two days. It's total chaos.

This one though is not as surprising as Jesiz has truly been woeful for Coast. ManCloud returning to the LCS will certainly be interesting, but whether he regains any of his previous S3 form is something that is still up in the air. In my opinion, I'm not 100% sold he'll ever regain that form, but for a team like Coast trying to avoid relegation, this is probably their best bet at the moment.

I love that teams are being proactive about roster changes. There is absolutely no fucking around for a team like Coast with the automatic relegation of the 10th place team.

I don't even think it's that Jesiz was playing bad necessarily, he didn't look good but he wasn't the weakest part of the team -- I think they got rid of him because Jesiz's playstyle. Impaler is an aggressive jungler, Mancloud was a very aggressive mid. They'll probably mesh a lot better than Impaler and Jesiz did. Their issue wasn't laning phase, though. This won't improve their shotcalling since Mancloud was never the shotcaller of Vulcun/XDG, Zuna was. This just seems like a change addressing a problem that was near the bottom of the list of issues.

Jesiz was terrible and mancloud is absolutely an upgrade. Jesiz was only part of the problem, but it's not like getting Mancloud means they aren't trying to fix other ones. This is what I don't like when people react to roster swaps and say "he wasn't the problem". There is no 1 problem that can be fixed and make a team great. If you can make a team better then you should.

Oh no doubt, but Mancloud is in the position that Piglet and Xmithie were in -- he's only an upgrade if he can get back into his old form. Xmithie succeeded at this (or at least did to an extent) where as Piglet failed. I doubt they would have sent Jesiz back to EU if they weren't sure that Mancloud was an upgrade, though. You're right though that if they can make an upgrade to the roster they should. Now it's just on their shotcalling improving. I'd love to see Mancloud dominate NA again, the guy is still tied for highest amount of kills and he's not played in a year.

Mancloud would be a clear upgrade if this was still the assassin meta but he's still pretty untested with the current patch. The last season XDG was in the LCS proved that their whole team was absolute garbage at adapting with the meta and Mancloud was at best average with non-assassin mids.

His skill ceiling should be way higher than Jesiz tho. If he put in the work like people say he did than he should be solid.

I think i even called Jesiz getting benched when Coast's roster was announced in challenger series. That guy is hot garbage and I can't even fathom how SK managed to do so well with him mid. It wasn't like candypanda and freddy were clearly above average either.

Idk, I just look at jesiz's play and I think, how could anyone not be an upgrade I guess at this point.
