With the acquisition to air LPL live in English from the Riot offices in Sydney, it's been announced that not all games will be shown live. The main casting team will be head by “Atlus” Anderson, Julian "PastryTime" Carr, and Jake "Spawn" Tiberi.
The day one games will be shown in entirety, including the Chinese debuts of Imp, Spirit, Acorn, KaKAO, Save, Pawn and Deft. It will kick off with the most famous Chinese rivalry between Invictus Gaming and World Elite.
Due to conflicts in schedule, the weekend games will only show half the matches live. After those games are finished, the OPL (Oceanic's premiere league) will kick off and OGN's Champions will continue on the main Riot Twitch channel live. The rest of the games will be uploaded onto Youtube for free VOD's within 48 hours of them playing live.
Unfourtantely, VOD's of LPL's first week games will not be available at the time due to technical conflicts. Riot hopes to have the situation rectified soon, wanting to bring LPL English VOD's to the Western fans.

But there is no Looper tonight ;/ Tomorrow though.
Looper vs SHRC, almost like in good old days.

This is pathetic, they should have kept it on two channels.
Day 1 still has a conflict so who knows what's going to happen.

Obviously Monte and Doa will cast LPL and Champions at the same time.

Not for week one.
Watching Monte/DoA cast two games at once sounds fun.

Riot games - company when they realize day before LPL that China/KR is in similar time zone.

Shame that previous LPL casters weren't employed.

Presumably we can still watch the games on Douyu

it is amazing the lack of foresight Riot displays on a seemingly regular basis.

We're not getting OMG vs Vici live? That's a damn shame. I'm not sure what games will be airing instead of it, but that one's way hype. I guess it'll be back to douyu for me.

As someone not interested in LPL besides watching ex-Champion players, can't say I'm too disappointed. But I am sure there a lot of people out there who are and Rito should've had plenty of time to have a better solution ready.

That is some top class incompetence. What a good way to start the season Riot.

No Papasmithy and it clashes with KR and OCE Challenger, losing out to the latter? What?
Are they going to put an alternate stream on tonight? OGN2 presumably still exists.
Also, what on earth is with the use of 'acquisition' in the first sentence?

At least chinese language sounds cool so watching original stream won't be a problem
