We also had Air Force who had their division where retired pros could go play in a legends team. Also WeMade and Hite were two huge sponsors that were really big. Then the Savior thing happened, sponsors dropped left and right, and MBC became a game channel. People will bring up Jin Air, but people forget they didn't come out of nowhere. They put on two of the biggest OSL's, Jin Air OSL 1 and 2 before they came out as a full team sponsor for LoL and SC2. Now, if we look at the landscape and ask ourselves which big companies could throw their hands into the mix, in my opinion there are only two possible candidates. The most obvious would be Lotte/Hot 6ix. They have continually sponsored OGN Champions and were a major sponsor of MVP. They're a big brand, have been around in eSports for a while and I think would make the perfect sponsor for the next KeSPA team. The outside shot would be a company that is always looking for the next big thing. Red Bull has put on the best SC2 events, I think, for the past year. They've dipped their foot in the water by sponsoring Bomber and somewhat with Startale/Life, but I think that they could make a massive impact if they wanted to get into buying a team. Of course they might rather go with an NA team (since I believe Red Bull is bigger in NA than it is in KR), but they could be a choice. There is always room for a sponsor to come out of nowhere, but I would look at Lotte as your best bet. Lotte Lions vs. Huya Tigers for Worlds 2015, please. | ||

There are lots of sponsors for the small teams like alienware and maybe bigfile, with the opportunity to actually make an impact beyond going 0-6 in OGN groups maybe they'll reinvest | ||

The rest of the SKT 1K guys deserve more credit though, no?, you seem to put it all down to Faker, sure hes good, but he is 1 in 5. btw does anyone know how Puzzle, Coca or Marine King (Prime ;S) did in their LOL forays? | ||
