My brother keeps telling me that Teemo with sunfire cape works on ascension. Just stand on a point and prevent them from taking it. This work?

Unless they MASSIVELY fucked up, no. Waaaay back in the day they made Sunfire cancel stealth because Eve would just pop on Sunfire and then shadow people to death.

The Jinx in my last game said (her allied) Thresh's lantern did 300 damage to her in the death recap. Is this bug known, and is it actually doing damage or just bug in the recap?

Death recaps are frequently misleading: sometimes multiple sources of damage are labeled as one source, sometimes damage gets attributed to the wrong source (I frequently die to summoner spells like Revive and Clairvoyance), and sometimes damage is missing altogether.

Finally got perfect ascension icon on the final day. Had to steal the Xerath at the end of the game as Brand. After like 60 games, finally.

Now I can play ranked again.

So, had a weird issue with League not opening and tried reinstalling it.

I'm having issues with the installer. When I open the launcher, it'll start patching/installing/whatever, and after a while the connection speed will drop to 0. I have to close the game and then reopen it and it gets a little bit farther.

I've been at it for over a day now and I'm only about 40% done with the install.

Is this a known issue? Any suggestions? It's annoying as hell.

Open it from the folder and not from shortcut.I know this sounds retarded but it fixed it for me.....

I dunno about the install though.

Sounds like some of you really don't know how to help new (friends) players get into the game. After you get them used to everything against bots the last thing you want to do is dominate games with your smurf. All you'll end up doing is sucking all the fun because you'll be the only one who is fed and when you quickly inflate their ELO they will just get stomped when you aren't around to hold their hand.

What I usually do is let them play an easy to learn and fun champ like Ezreal since he's like perfect for new players. Safe, ranged, jump, low CD skill shots to help them learn to aim, and a Kamehameha type ultimate. Plus they can build whatever damage items they want since both AD/AP are good on him. All I do is build super tanky on someone like Taric, Rammus or Xin (I'll hold, you punch.) and help peel for them but focus on letting them deal most of the dps. Build a jungle item during the mid game so you can just PvE while they are in base.
