Couldn't you potentially calculate all the most p-accurate champion-champion counter/synergies, put them into a database, then create a program where you can show what everyone else has picked so far in a lobby, and have the program suggest which champion pick would give the higher probability of winning? You could weight the different probabilities by their p value or something too.
Sure calculating the data would take forever, but once you have the 30-40 most p-reliable pieces of information for each champion, wouldn't it be "relatively" simple to just put them all in an array or something, and write a script to work out the most optimal pick in a situation?
You could even ignore the normalising for winrates step, since you're only interested in the highest win% chance for this situation, which might save some time.

After Riot released Artic Ops Varus I'm encountering Varus in every single solo queue game now, jeez, that is annoying, because as I've noticed out of 6 games, Varus pick won the game only once. And he was in my team, fortunately.

So the problem is that currently the analysis is done on a pairwise basis.
But you are right. I hope eventually (wwith more data and better models) I can predict which side can win by looking at the entire team as a whole. I think your approach is really nice and it will work.

SO THE NEXT TIME I QUEUED IT WAS FOR DRAFT NORMAL WITHOUT KNOWING IT SINCE ALL THE GAME TYPES GOT SHIFTED DOWN ONE

Low level fog is frustrating at the very least. Nothing worse than having teammates that don't ward and having red/blue stolen with no chance to retaliate (less common now that I'm out of gold). Also, even in the better vision environment of s3, remember that 2 of C9's 3 losses were the result of Lvl 1 shenanigans. Low vision at Lvl 1 increases variance without a doubt.
