The place you go for general LoL discourse, random off-topic weirdness, quality articles about the professional scene, and amazing Champion guides now gives you simple and easy access to your favorite League of Legends streamers! Just like SC2, DotA2, and Hearthstone, some of League's biggest streamers will have their names on the right sidebar so you don't have to leave TL to see who's on and tune in.
Some of you will remember that LoL has had featured streamers in the past, so how is this iteration different?
- Our Featured Streamers will include the members TSM, C9, Dignitas, EG, and Fnatic, as well as some members of CRS and SK, all of whom are new to TeamLiquid. We're also working on getting Azubu streams embedded in TL so we can have CLG join us, but we'll have to wait for some pending developments on TL. Soon!™
- Each streamer will now have their own stream thread, allowing for discussion of an amusing match or entertaining scrim outside of General Discussion.
- We're also now supporting official TL Fan Club pages for LoL teams! Pick a team with players featured on TL and create an official TL fan club for them! Only two guidelines apply here: first, we want the fanclubs to be team, not player, based and second, they should be marked with "[LoL]" at the beginning.
- Having a featured stream on TL means each of these players will now have a TL account. They now have the chance to interact with our community -- no promises though.
- These streamers are just the start! Hopefully, with these teams' presence on TL, others will be inspired to join as well.
Hope you guys are excited as I am for this new feature!
A note for streamers: If you are one of our new Featured LoL streamers and you would like control of your TeamLiquid streaming account, please use the TL Contact Us form to verify your identity and claim your username. If you are an LCS player and would like your stream featured on TeamLiquid, please create an account and send a PM to Bumblebee.
Streamer List:
- Fnatic
- Dignitas
- TSM
- C9
- EG
- Curse Gaming
- SK Gaming
- Alliance
- Coast
- Millenium

Long enough to be annoying but short enough to have no endurance.
This is actually cool though, did these guys all sign up with TL accounts?

This is actually cool though, did these guys all sign up with TL accounts? A few have personally signed up, and have control of their accounts. In general the majority of these accounts were created by the LoL staff, but the streamers have the right to come claim these accounts for themselves if they want

Will non LCS players who have popular streams be able to get featured if they sign up?
|
Thanks for this, now I won't have to bother channelsurfing on Twitch or dealing with RoG.

Established and famous streamers are more than welcome to apply for it and will be featured on a case by case basis.

I mentioned this on Reddit, but if you are a non LCS player but an established famous streamer nonetheless, don't hesitate to PM me. We're always open and will take a closer look at it if you feel you belong there.

Time to create the TL LoL Dignitas Fanclub.
Masochists unite, we'll celebrate their Olympic golds in Track and Field.

Also Asmo, that was quick. What are you gaiz doing. Need another week of foreplay and agonizing denial of information for this to be soon(tm).

Any way to add the azubu stream for CLG? those are so hard to catch when they go on because it's not twitch

The wizards at TL Tech are working on finding a way to embed them I believe.

Just because someone has to be that pedantic guy for the sake of completeness (and because this is TL): You forgot the BW streams Asmo!!
But anyway, really cool news. Although with the important tournaments being featured on here anyway, TL has become the only side that I visit regularly, it will still be awesome to have some more player streams featured!
Some clarification on the featured to fanclub correlation rule would be great here: Would this mean, for example, that we can't have an SK Telecom fanclub (or any KeSPA fanclub for that matter) because they obviously don't stream and thus will never be featured on here?

you can have of course a kespa team as a fanclub.

Awesome news =) Especially now that TSM pretty much butchered their site for no apparant reason, this is just great =)

Now all we need is LoL flair logos.

Weird... I can't see any of the LoL streams on my sidebar even though it's enabled.
That's because there are none. Doh. Disregard.

Ah that's just a tourney stream. They have been featured for a very long time already!

Locodoco is streaming at twitch.tv and he above all should be featured at tl.net. I mean he's a battlecruiser here.
