From a flavor perspective, Viktor is such an AWESOME champion, it's partly why I love him. His gait, his voice, his script, everything just makes you feel maniacal. I just feel that Riot could do more with it. But also, why put a lot of effort into a champ no one plays...

He was the lead designer for the "flying in space" part of EVE (as opposed to the "spreadsheets" part)
His design philosophy isn't as centered around "fun" as Riot's, and should bring some good diversity to the design team. EVE is more about emergent gameplay created by the players, and tries to balance (or unbalance) ships so that they are each good in some situation, rather than being able to do everything.
edit: Except tengus. Tengus can do everything.
edit2: A tengu is like pre-nerf Jayce, except when you lose a game with him you lose all the runes you were using in that match

Like, they have 32K of RAM or something like that. And their display resolution is something close to 96x64.

Seriously, the calculator monopoly is just as bad as the textbook crap. The only reason TI-8x and other graphing calculators are so expensive is just for school and test-taking because no one else needs to buy one nowadays.
(lol, I've been there with the shitty computer. I had the Pentium II-300 in University back when everyone had Pentium IV's and I had to hijack my roommate's computer to play Warcraft 3: RoC. Nowadays I spend $400 trying to fix a problem with my computer randomly freezing by replacing almost everything and it turns out none of it was the problem and in the process I break my optical drives and lose my 2TB hard drive. For the love of God let me make jokes about TI-83 calculators in peace.)

In a class I'm in you can't use a calculator that's better than a certain model. Pretty much the only reason they would want you to have one is because they want you to do non-paper and pencil calculations during a test, and your phone is perfect for that, but it will also basically do the test for you so they need you to have a crippled version of it. In twenty years you will be able to use your phone or whatever replaces it, in the same they went from letting you use a slide rule to a calculator.
