I wonder how much the Koreans benefit from the format of OGN, which isn't "cram as many games as possible" like LCS, and gives them time to plan, allowing them to look a lot better than they really are in comparison?

What's your standard of 'really are' here?

I guess "really are" is poor word usage on my part, I should say instead that they give the illusion of superiority because they have so much more room to breathe in between matches.

Eh, I mean, Ozone is under performing, but it's not like SKT losing to OMG is this huge, shameful thing. OMG is a good team. I feel like the general perception was top CH teams could compete with the top KR teams, just that KR has a deeper pool of top tier teams. At least that's how I always saw it.

You know when Doublelift said "Faker-senpai", it was in the context of a game with a Korean and a Chinese team.

If you think the senpai part was related to the race of the players, you haven't been on the internet long enough.

I don't know how that move was considered greedy by NiP? It's a big improvement imo.

Same. We all know it's Bjergsen's team >_>

The only team change thing I didn't agree with was Sven leaving and that was on his own accord

The Season 3 Worlds Monte vs CSheep Extravaganza Update:

Day 3 yielded 3 new champions, bringing the total to 47. Vladimir, Tristana, and Lulu all made appearances. None of these were particularly surprising picks.

Notable champions still missing in action include Ashe, Mundo, Annie, and Kassadin. I'd be very surprised if none of these champions were picked before the end, and I'll probably end up giving Kassadin a bye anyway.

I mean, Annie bans will come out against Royal. Doubt any teams will be willing to give her up to them though.

Probably won't see Ashe until C9 play, or perhaps Vulcun might break her out.
Annie probably won't see play til Royal.
Why aren't bans counted in this?

I predict SKT pick kass and gogoing takes mundo and proxies all three waves at level 6 because gogoing doesn't give a fuck about anything.

Champs I still wanna see before it's over:

Talon, Shaco, Sejuani, Quinn, Xerath.

Curious about this as well.

The point of this is to get a gauge on viable champ diversity, an a champ that gets banned means that the team that banned it thinks it was good enough to be worth picking.

I think sejuani and xerath will come out at least once. Talon/quinn may be pocketed by some team (I predict lemonpups).
