"Reprehensible"? I dunno. It wasn't deliberate or malicious. I'd put it more in the "boneheaded" or "moronic" or "incredibly thoughtless" category. He seemed very contrite. Not to give him a free pass or anything, I just think there's a difference if someone deliberately screws people over (eg, steals a lottery ticket) or accidentally does it because they're stupid (tosses your lottery ticket out with the trash because it was near the trash pile he didn't know what it was).

The comparison I still like to make is that I'm going to watch the Super Bowl no matter who is in it. I would like for my favorite team to make it, but I know that's not entirely feasible every year. And it's pretty easy to learn about teams from the Asian scene with resources like Leaguepedia or GGChronicle had its comprehensive team previews right before the finals.

They are progamers not rolemodels, just because they got good at this game doesn't mean their characters improved too. Instead of holding them to be rolemodels we should just laugh and enjoy the drama. It is kinda hypocritical to call someone like Regi and douche then turn around and flame your teammates in solo queue.
This also applies to people not wanting to root for a player for being douchey or something, if you feel like league players should provide you with moral guidance on top of performance and entertainment, you need to reevaluate your life.
