Is this group supposed to be stronger than the AD carry support in lane? Should you try to fight it or just farm? I just lost to two bruisers as tristana blitz vs riven and lee sin.

Just farm it out, and try not to die. If the opposing team doesn't have a ranged ad then you really don't have to worry about giving up a little farm, as your lategame is just too strong in comparison. If they do then you have to hope your jungler can do enough to shut them down. It's still possible to outplay double bruiser bot with ad/support, of course, but tristana probably isn't the best choice to try that.

Before you could pretty much pick him into anything and he'd be good at all points of the game. I'm not so sure about that now, and I think there may be a need to think about why you're picking him. Probably any time you want that mid game burst that Corki or Graves brings, but also need safe range and poke (to be fair, Corki does that as well with R, but not until 6 and not as consistently as Ez Q).

He's still super safe. Like there isn't a single AD/support combo that's gonna shut him down and/or stop him from farming. Q farm and his E are just that good. He loses a lot of fights now though. Like in a straight 1v1 he loses to nearly everyone. But he's still super safe and I guess in pro play that's what you want the most.
