Wait I don't get it. Are you saying that the current NA casters aren't entertaining enough or that the NA scene isn't good because they're trying to entertain?

Maybe thats why reapered left Blaze, his stream is super entertaining, so i doubt he will ever accomplish anything. :|

No I am saying that a lot of the NA players make so much money from streaming that there is no need for them to get good or be competitive. Why practice 10 hours a day trying to win a tournament when you can just stream 10 hours a day to make a buck load of money?

I actually think Reapered streaming was a by-product of his dysfunctional position in the team. Perhaps he knew he was leaving the team for months; it is only recent that *we* got to know about it.

^ above me, Reapeared alrdy streamed a few weeks after MLG Summer Arena way before the whole disaster of losing to frost in the semis and losing to sword in the s3 finals qualifier. Also Helios and Lustbuy recently started streaming as well. What I didnt know is that he had to go to Azubu Frost's dorm alone and "guard" it when they were in LA lol.

No I am saying that a lot of the NA players make so much money from streaming that there is no need for them to get good or be competitive. Why practice 10 hours a day trying to win a tournament when you can just stream 10 hours a day to make a buck load of money?


Was actually funny watching chaox marathon, when some random dude asked if he was willing to do some private lessons for 100$, and chaox was like "nah, 100$ bucks not that much" I am glad to get that from a full days of work, heh.

Normally it's like $3 per 1000 ads. So say you have 20k viewers and do 3 ads every hour. That equates to $180/hr. Most streamers normally run 3 ads after every game though, which might average out to about every 30 mins. So $360/hr actually isn't impossible to make. :p

Inherent flaw. The players/teams who get the most viewers often have that because they are in the top teams. They've gotten recognized for their success. So they get lots of ad revenue as well as the riot sponsorship.
