I'm curious though. If you could choose any pro-player to act as a co-caster who would you choose?

I really hope that Riot flies out one or two pro-players who don't qualify for Worlds to help with the casting team.
(Or me. That works too!) Riot could just bring in Jatt! Love Jatt's casting, and he has all the knowledge from playing jungle at the pro level before working with Riot.

Deman/Joe Miller could do it, maybe Panky/Quickshot too? I don't think any of the current OGN casters could do a 2 man cast with just one of them and a pro. The three man cast with 1 pro works out ok though, maybe they'll stay on that format. I'm truthfully not very important in the LR Threads haha
There are two things you need out of a charismatic caster. 1) You need to mesh with your analytical caster. A lot of people such as pro-gamers are not the most outspoken of players so you need to be able to draw that insight from them. I think this is one of the reasons why Apollo-TB is such a good combination. They just get along very well and Apollo seems more relaxed sometimes when he's with TB. That, and good ol' British humour heh.
2) You need to know how to fill downtime and how to regulate your voice. I think one of the biggest problems that Moletrap and many other casters face. They have difficultly in knowing when to vary the tone in their voice and understanding when to hype, when to draw back and just let the tension simmer, and when to just completely hand the reigns over to the analytical caster. It's a delicate balance and probably something that only comes with experience. Moletrap for instance is much better than he was in OGN Spring because he's getting better at understanding the difference between flash graphics, and when a big play actually occurred. I look forward to seeing how he develops next season.

Hehe the problem with Dan is he talks to slow. It stops him from getting the point across because something else always happends.
As for who. Almost everyone who has done it at some point has been pretty good. Scarra, Jatt would be my favourites probably.

Nidalee is reeeeally doing well this game. So fed that it's impossible to 1v1, with an oracle is even LESS catchable than usual, and Najin is just refusing to have anything to do with "teamfights"
Interesting use of teleport to push both bot and top lanes at the same time.
Edit: and suddenly, Lategame Vayne.
Holy shit. 417 creeps before 40 min.
