Playhem Announces $200 League of Legends Showmatch

Tripletwenty United States210 Posts March 16 2012 23:53 GMT #1 March 16, 2012, Playhem, an industry leader in gaming tournament solutions and originator of the Playhem Daily, is excited to announce that on Saturday, March, 24th we will be venturing into the world of League of Legends with an exciting new weekly showmatch series, featuring the best talent found anywhere! When asked about the new addition to Playhem’s lineup, Community Manager Travis Hezel had this to say about League of Legends, “League of Legends has really caught the attention of our staff and we want to get involved in any avenue possible to help provide teams with yet another platform to showcase their talent. I’m very excited to see how Playhem is received in another genre as we continue to develop our platform around all types of gamers.” Our first showmatch will feature Team SoloMid vs. the always tough Team Curse in a bo3 series, where $150 will go to the victor. Be sure to check out all of the live coverage starting at 9pm EST on March 24th @ www.playhem.tv -- Information (TLDR): Date - Sunday, March 24th Time - 9pm EST Casters – Randall “DigiWombat” Fitzgerald, Nhat Nguyen Teams – Team SoloMid, Team Curse Prize - $150 for 1st Place, $50 for 2nd Place Length – Best of Three

Not sure why TSM didn't swap Irelia/Urgot more rather than have Janna come to help Irelia. The Janna/Irelia lane was just about the same as Irelia alone vs Graves. :o
