That's not exactly the greatest analogy. A 6 pool is a blind risk you take at the start of the game. But in a Bo5, players still try to make aggressive moves in correspondence to the various timing strengths and weaknesses appropriate to the game, and you still see a lot of battles. There are definitely ways to encourage gameplay such that the "safest" play still involves ganking, teamfighting, and action overall. There's a difference between players not 4 pooling in a Bo5, and playing an NR 20 game. | ||

Although in a game without early aggression it might also suggest that they're more confident in the long game and don't see early aggression paying off. | ||
