Maybe they think like the Mayans, and the calendar is gonna reset next year. Then its only a 1970 year ban.

"Dignitas Jatt's statement regarding group A at IEM NY"
+ Show Spoiler +Let me first say that I do not want to insult any teams. I strictly want the most competitive and fair tournament possible when my team goes to IEM NY.
Group A: Dignitas (1st place IEM qualifier) CLG (replacing asian invite) TSM (3rd place IEM qualifier) Fnatic (1st/2nd place IEM qualifier)*
Group B: Rez (2nd place IEM qualifier) Curse (4th place IEM qualifier) Cypher (3rd place IEM qualifier) SK (1st/2nd place IEM qualifier)*
*afaik the entire EU tourney was not completed, so SK and Fnatic both finished at the top with Cypher being in the losers bracket.
Even if we completely discount past performance, these groups are stacked based on the qualifier results alone. the last place finishers from both EU and the US should not be in the same group, while the 1st place finishers from 3 qualifiers (asian, US, EU) are all in the same group.
Now if we look at the seeding based on past performance and expectations it is even more unbalanced. We can compare the american teams seeding based on seeding at the upcoming IPL at atlantic city.
1) CLG (Group A) 2) TSM (Group A) 3) EG 4) Dignitas (Group A) 5) Curse (Group B) 6) Rez (v8) (Group B) 7) Complexity 8) Goose
American seeds #1 #2, and #4 are in the same group (group A) with Fnatic, who are potentially the best team in EU based on their past Dreamhack victory.
Meanwhile, Group B has the #5 and #6, as well as Cypher who afaik have never competed in a major tourney or placed highly in the IEM qualifier.
I would just like the seedings to be more balanced. I know people are excited to see the "group of death" but it's not terribly exciting to be a part of it.
This is a legitimate tournament, there is alot of money on the line. I think it is realistic to ask for more accurate group seedings.
Should make an interesting first round to watch in its current state. Not sure about the rest of the tourney though.

Fuck it though, I wanna see TreeEski's team make it out of the group stage - keep the groups how they are.

A monkey could make a better seeding just by doing it randomly.

Wtf my client is updating again and is still on busy?
edit: lol wtf it dled all the splash art then just started up.

Anyone else having weird delay with Xeraths abilities? Like it'll fire, and then the damage goes out like a second or 2 later. Almost as if Q and R has missile speeds attached to them.
|
There's a delay, like Brand's Pillar or Lux's ult.
|
I get theres like a cast time, that's not what I'm saying. Like the ability connects when I have a rylai's. They get slowed, and about a second after they've already been slowed they receive the damage.

This is hilarious, reminds me of the BNET hack on the starcraft 2 forums.

Xerath has to have the least impressive sounds/spell effects of any caster in the game.

Is it me or does Xerath have really really bad skins?

EDIT: Shenn'd

Aside from my complaints though, his attacks and style seem really fucking badass. With the proper team comp and communication, I feel like he can just pull a Kog (sit and bang bang bang).

He's pretty fun. His skins are definitely bad though.

Xerath needs this skin:
