April 23rd (Saturday) a lower 3v3 online bracket tournament will begin. For a grand prize of 50 dollars USD. If you are to email me you can donate to the pool and add money which will up the grand prize. You can also email me suggested rules, and your 3's team. This will be updated regularly with teams and added rules. Please email me your:
1. Team members
2. Everyones level
3. Complete rune page? Yes or No
4. Insurance of availability
5. Pro gaming experiences? (this really matters for matching up, match ups are mostly random)
6. Team name.

If one player is not ready he will be given 10 minutes to show, if 10 minutes expires team will be terminated
Bad Manners are permitted because it is funny: But if intolerable racial slurs occur and offense repeats it self team will be disqualified
2-3 games will take place every day- bracket will be posted once enough teams email me.
Note this is an "all level" tournament, all skill levels are encouraged.
Champions will be choosen in the lobby and Champions will be banned in a 1-2-2-1 format.
Mundo, Singed, and NuNu auto banned.

I would think it would also depend on opponent picks asa well. It would be rather difficult to counter-pick someone not knowing what they are playing.
Also along these lines, how could they give you their rune setups if they don't even know their champion picks?

also i will save you time and say the only three champs anyone's going to put for #6 are nunu, mundo, and singed. so you should just banish those and then have another 3 champs people want out. but i'll tell you the next three are xin zhao, jarvan IV, and renekton. so you might as well banish those and have people pick another 3

Also what is #5? What are you looking for there? How do you expect someone to provide "insurance" beyond jsut signing up and saying they will be there.

3. if 9 characters are OP then 3 teams can play them, and that in a way makes it more even.. and the way your saying it all characters are OP so we don't have a problem.

Yeah I have been looking everywhere for a decent line of tournaments for lower levels (Level 15) or high levels (level 30). You could even possibly build up a name if people actually sign up. I appreciate the enthusiasm Steve.

So, we have to have pre-determined teams? Why can't picks and bans happen as they do in every other tournament? What if your lineup has one or two of the banned champions? What if your pre-determined team is matched against another that will do better purely based on the matchup - why no counterpicking?

Well this is all about suggestions :3 I suppose you could swap out a member for another. You will be told that the character is banned, and you will have time to switch. I guess you are right about that. I will edit.

there are definite tiers to TT, and the top 3 champs are miles better than the next three. i think what you're trying to say is that you only want each champ used by 1 team? okay so my team picks mundo singed and nunu. we win automatically just on strength of champs. the whole point of picking/banning/counterpicking is so that you can have a team comp that can beat the opponents team comp. there's no point in blindly entering a pre-determined tournament because if you're up against mundo singed an nunu, you aren't going to win. if you've got three champs that are all countered by 1 champ (i.e. 3 single target bursters and the other team has zilean) then you're going to lose. but you wouldn't pick those champions if you knew the other team had zilean, so your comp is moot.
the way you should do it is the way every other tournament does it
bans and picks in chat
each team gets the same amount of bans and picks, usually in a 1-2-2-2-...-1 format
for twisted treeline i suggest 4 or 6 bans, probably 6. you might want to just auto-ban mundo singed and nunu too.
then teams get to pick again in a 1-2-2-1 format, so that they have a chance to take counters to their opponents picks
