I don't consider "pays for themselves after 12 minutes" and "not going to use up all your item slots anyway" being an argument for philo stones because that gold/slots would otherwise go toward Hearts of Gold, which also pay for themselves in that time. Meanwhile they're also making you harder to kill. You save some health potion gold, but is it worth the loss in survivability? If you die once, you've fed the opponent 8 health potions worth of gold, and I'm pretty sure there was at least one death that game where having 2 HoGs instead of 2 Philos would have made the difference between living and dying. | ||
