It looks like whoever did the brackets looked at elo or reputation atleast because all the teams with byes have atleast a few recognizable names

you can add yourself to the team at anytime, as long as it is prematch, and the other team will probably object to it if you do it after the picks/bans (I mean it's like: okay we pick shaco, oh and by the way Reginald is joining our team before we begin the match, doesn't really make it fair for the other team seeing as they might have based their bans/picks around your current players the bans/picks time
