The HeroesHearth Community Clash League is almost here! The last few weeks we’ve witnessed many of the draft candidates at in-house and exhibition matches. The European free agents have tested their ping, the NA veterans have remembered how to play the game, and the new blood has challenged the players they used to admire. Everybody has shown what they’re capable of. And finally the eight accepted organizations have selected the six players who will represent them at CCL. This is the CCL draft.
Note: the teams are shown in their draft order.

Chilly Mountain is an organization that has been quite active lately. They’ve hosted Heroes tournaments in North America and Europe and have already announced the first Korean edition of their series. They also have an active team in the NGS Storm Division. The roster they drafted shows this knowledge of the different regions, but no matter their region, these players have a lot of competitive experience on their backs.
Sidestep Kings

Fan’s organization has bet on the Korean players. Of the three Team Alexander free agents, they’ve only missed Lockdown. The roster seems well-rounded, with Jun as the perfect link between the Korean and Western players.
WildHeart Esports
WildHeart roster:
3 Justing
14 Zergling
19 Budshin
30 Unaverted
35 Funz
46 Wearyday

WildHeart Esports is the only roster without any player from Korea or Europe. They’ve built a team around some NA stars from now and then, maybe trying to bring back the victorious spirit of 2015 Cloud9.
CrowdControlGaming
CrowdControl roster:
4 Lauber
13 Rutzou
20 XraYY
29 Dynouh
36 Daykwaza

Turk and his org have relied on the European players to carry them to victory. They’ve gathered pieces from Washed Up, Feel the Heat, and Lauber’s Fanclub (with Lauber himself) to put together one of the most promising rosters. Hebi from VGM Gaming closes up this lineup and establishes a link with the NA scene.
Granit Gaming
Granit Gaming roster:
5 Nic
12 Svampgrotta
21 Burger
28 Nintorii
37 Henn1ng
44 Skogh

Granit’s draft has been almost perfect for their interests. The Swedish organization lost Lauber in the first draft round but managed to secure Henn1ng, their captain for the last couple years. They got three more Swedes to run this viking menace, accompanied by EU veterans Nic and Nintorii.
Simplicity
Simplicity roster:
6 Kure

Simplicity is back and they smell like the old NA HGC. Their roster is built around the former Team Freedom trinity of Kure, Lutano, and KilluZiion. Another veteran, Hosty, comes back to his former org. These four experienced players will mentor two post-HGC rising stars: Wit and Noah.
30k
30k roster:

Michael Udall has gathered an intercontinental powerhouse. HasuObs, Mascarade, and Kari have been dominating the European scene the last two years. Vespertine has done his part in NA, and they’ve added the second coming of BBJ to this explosive mix. This environment might be ideal for the newcomer Breakw00d to grow and develop her talent.
Oxygen Esports

Oxygen used their two consecutive picks to draft former HGC players Prismaticism and Nazmas. The Canadian players will lead a team with one of the best European healers, BananaH, and some post-HGC players who have been around for a while now.
Many strong rosters have emerged from this draft, but we’ll see which ones synergize faster and thrive. Teams will have some time to train until the next November 7th, the date of CCL debut. Some big names such as Mene, Jia, Lockdown, or daneski have been left out of this draft, so maybe the new generation is finally ready. Will the chosen ones live up to their potential? Let us know what you think of these teams and what would have been your perfect draft!
