No reason we can't accommodate both groups. Why wouldn't they also have a normal/ Twitch stream/ restream for this? Honestly when watching the re-stream there were lots of things that were kind of a let-down production-wise. Nothing on the minimap but red and blue dots, no talents shown, etc. It was really hard to follow what was going on in the game except for seeing who won teamfights. So, this isn't really targeted at us as a demo at all. I guess it's fine to have some tournaments that are gateway events meant to bring new faces in, but it kind of sucks that bliz made such a big deal of the bracket challenge given that. From what I remember from last year, ESPN has pretty strict requirements for what the UI is allowed to look like (UI can only take up so much space, etc.). So I wouldn't be surprised if the UI was the best they could do given ESPN contraints.
Which kind of feeds into my commentary of Heroes of the Dorm not really being "for" us. Putting it on ESPN has restricted access to viewing the game live and restricted the information presented during the game. These restrictions essentially make the event more for the average commentator on that twitter stream. (Oh, video games. totally gay.)

It's ok guys, as a cable cutter in the US, I'm unavailable to watch Heroes of the Dorm unless I ask some one... But I rather not, and keep fighting the long one. Sling TV was a good option, but meh, it's like paying for cable still lol... I'll just wait until the replays come out.
On the other hand, I wanted to ask why do people like playing Sky Temple so much? Like my w/l ratio on that map is still higher than 50% but I personally hate that map... It's just so big...

Ended up in place #606 for the heroes of the dorm bracket. RIP my dreams of an azmodunk skin.

I was over 10k place in the bracket but then got the entire top 8 and on completely correct and ended up at 383. Woot for the comebacks.

So I was walking back tonight from Mass and stopped at a restaurant to pick up some food before doing homework. As I was paying at the counter, I heard "That's right, Tasteless!" coming from behind me in familiar, dulcet tones. I jumped and turned around to find Heroes of the Storm with Tasteless and Artosis playing live, on the large TV in this sports-themed restaurant in a college town.
It's a wonderful world, guys.

I'm using the Abios esports tracker plugin for chrome. It actually works fairly well in showing which matches are on or upcoming.

Lots of Dehaka in the dreamhack NA qualifier tonight. Tempo Storm up 1-0 vs cloud 9 in game to make top 4, about to start game 2 on twitch.
Cognative & Naventic already in top 4 and playing next. Blizzard under ddos attack delaying some of the games

c9 vs tempo storm just finished + Show Spoiler +tempo storm qualifies with 2-1 win over C9

Just finished the VOD of Nevantic vs. Cognitive game 1, Jesus what a game! I love seeing different builds on the pro level, Stage Dive on ETC was absolutely amazing, same as Tyrande's AoE Owl build with Starfall and Rewind. Also, glad to see Mage Falstad back, he can dish out some serious burst later in the game.
If you guys didn't watch this game go and watch it now, it was very long(34 minutes) game and it had some absolutely epic moments. https://www.twitch.tv/jhow4444/v/60454531 It starts around 02:31.
I am glad to see Dehaka being picked a lot, even though a lot of pros said that he is "mediocre", his talents sucks, but his abilities overall are quite good and game turning.

This is some real draft gymnastics from OMG to give 4 out of 5 Black's players their comfort picks.

Bahahahahaha. I have no idea why OMG is putting so much faith into this Dehaka pick. He was more or less completely useless in both games...it would be better to just have Sylvanas or Xul to shove the lanes and rotate.

Sake made some uncharacteristically bad plays throughout that series. Seriously, that was the most obvious Sundering incoming ever, but Sake refused to dash out of it. It's still funny that MVP Black came out ahead in levels after that though :p.
