You cannot teach a cat to do something he doesn't want to (eg.: not climbing in my monitor)

stalking cat was good video.. cats are just awesome though..
inform the thread when OP made a selection.. my parents spent about 900$ on a pair of cats from this breeder.. When one of my original and family-raised cats disappeared my moms was rather upset about it and eventually wanted to get another cat.. they kinda researched 'em and found out that she wanted a type called 'ragdolls' because they're specially breed to be big cats, like Garfield.. and kinda lazy.. just laying around the house etc and whenever u pick 'em up, they're supposed to be limp and easy-going etc..
so ya - they got those cats.. and I was totally livid w/ the idea.. 900$!? for some cats?! u know how many cats u coulda saved from a shelter for that much >< There was no way they coulda justified the decision to me.. was / is rediculous to pay that much for some animal, domestic anyway.

That's like saying we shouldn't adopt orphan children because they "ended up in a shelter for a reason".

I fully support adopting pets through animal shelter, but I wouldn't say that is an accurate comparison since the rate of the children being abandoned due to their psychological problem is scarcly low compared to the animals being abandoned due to their behavioural issues. Sure there are some children in orphanage that have remaining family, sometimes even a parent, surrendered to the Orphanage due to difficult circumstances dictating that they can no longer be cared for at home, but rarely on the basis of their psychological problems. I wouldn't say the same about the pets in animal shelter in terms of ratio.

I pad trained my puppy in literally 3 days (those absorbent pads), and 3 years later, she hasn't gone anywhere else even one time. I will admit dogs are more needy, for attention and exercise though. All depends on taste.

Wow you managed to pick on one spelling mistake after severe examination. Congratulations. Your sentences are full of gramatical mistakes I wouldn't know where to begin. For one you do not know how to form a proper sentence, rather you're just listing the words in random order without using suffixes or auxiliaries. I know it's hard to get proper education in Romania especially in the face of financial crisis but I encourage you to never lose hope.

The cat you're searching for could be a tabby british short hair cat. Look for those, but don't buy a cat from professionals! There are enough cats searching for a good home...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Shorthair
They come in many different colors, so don't be afraid that they don't have any specific pic of the cat you're looking for.
