Video editing has come quite a long way guys.
We will find out if this is true or not in a month's time, when actual reporters will see it and tell us about it.

Is it not weird to think you know how the inside of a sewer looks like when you haven't been in one ? All the sewers I've seen were on TV. Some say it's not a sewer because it's not made out of concrete. Maybe it's a metal drainage pipe. Maybe this is a sewer line that is usually completely flooded and will have all kinds of crap(and other organic stuff) lining the walls. They are clumps of annelid worms, almost certainly tubificids (Naididae, probably genus Tubifex). Normally these occur in soil and sediment, especially at the bottom and edges of polluted streams. In the photo they have apparently entered a pipeline somehow, and in the absence of soil they are coiling around each other. The contractions you see are the result of a single worm contracting and then stimulating all the others to do the same almost simultaneously, so it looks like a single big muscle contracting. Interesting video." aww Found this ignored and alone, at the fourth page of this thread. I'm adopting it. You can see the wormy texture and it's very likely that worms that like to eat crap find their way into a sewer. It could also be the ancestor to the nydus worm. Edit:Something weird. Why does that thing (or those worms) only move when the camera is close? Does the vehicle agitate them somehow or is it a clue to some special FX visual trickery.

Page 3 of this frakkin same thread: http://deepseanews.com/2009/06/creatures-from-the-sewer/ It's just a "bag" with baby worms, when one moves the other react creating that creepy "heart beat" move.

Worms or Bryozoa ? Since it's ruled out that it's anything new, zergish or otherwise alien I would say: "Not that interesting anymore"
