Brazil is no longer the best team in the world in football. I would also say that Maradona is an even bigger failure than Dunga is as a coach.
I wouldn't even be suprised if Spain beats Brazil 3-0 if they play each other anytime soon.\

BJJ had it's peak maybe a couple of years ago, nowadays it's more popular in the US and everywhere else than it is in Brazil!
Soccer and MMA are indeed very popular sports here. I'm more of a MMA guy myself, as I hate soccer and praticed BJJ and boxing for many years in the past.
I wouldn't say our women are particulary "hot", because really, there are hot women everywhere, but no doubt our women are the easiest to get. It's a known fact we brazilians have a much harder time getting chicks when we're travelling abroad than in our own country!
Freedom of religion and best voting system are the two things that make me proud of Brazil. Even though we're largely a catholic country, there are people of ALL faiths possible in Brazil - and everybody gets along well. The voting system is just the way things should be in the whole world. We know who the elected candidate is just a few hours after elections are over.
DotA is by far the most played game atm. It's the only game with a lot of tourneys and some kind of very. very poorly developed "e-sports scene" going - all other games aren't really played that much.

Theres a big rivalry of Brasil with Argentina, that started with soccer and gone into a national feeling. Not that we treat they bad if they come as tourists, but its notable (perhaps like Japan-China, but without war-invasion attempts on the past).

In fact our base educational system sucks. The higher is not that bad (some public universities are the best of south america, the private ones are more bad)

with that i disagree, since our football team (yeah football is right also) is being much more sucessfull now with Dunga in recent matches than others. All the critic is for he being inexperienced.

In most of our english schools, unprepared teachers teach that SOCCER is right, FOOTBALL is wrong. Poor teacher dont even think that England created football and there they call it football.
There is more acception to the american english than UK english.
This is changing now, as at this moment the more prestigious franchise of english schools is "English Culture", focused on UK english.

- That our "democracy" makes Iran look like an utopia. lol
- That our crime rates shocks any tourists from the first world.
- That we use the word "smart" as an synonym to "dishonest".

I was 6 and poor Baggio failed his penalty
I remember my parents told me "yea you can watch the whole game" but it was sooooooooo late here after the prolongations ( 3 am or something lol ) haha.
But Romario was dope too so it was ok
