adblock plus - provides a list of common black listed elements, so you don't have to manually block most of the ads
colourful tabs - gives your tabs colours (not really useful, but w/e)
tab mix plus - allows you to have multiple rows of tabs, manages closed tabs, browse sessions. Allows you to protect (cannot browse away/refresh the tab) and lock (cannot close) a tab -- very useful for flash/ajax games/apps (I always have these two for pandora and gmail)
firebug - lets you easily browse elements of the page
IE tab - loads up an ie window in a firefox tab (you need IE installed somewhere)
Mouse Gesture - lets you execute commands with the mouse
Flashblock - block flash elements
Noscript - blocks javascripts (maybe other scripts too)
Chatzilla - opens an IRC client in a tab
PDF download - manages download of pdf files, converts pages to pdf files

Basically a simple, yet effective, intrusion detection/prevention system for your FF. It displays a warning when a site wants to do something that's not nice and you can allow/block it, just like with ordinary AV.

Still looking for it, had it some time ago but forgot what the name was. Basically, it opened a small window in FF (a bit like firebug) where you could see all the traffic and what's going on on a webpage when you access it.
