I've been a person for nearly my whole life; I'm an avid fan of people games of a wide spectrum of genres. However, many of my fellow people have been causing me to lose some faith in humanity. Quite frankly, they're douchebags. A**holes. Pr*cks. Call them whatever you like, but the fact is, many, and I mean MANY, of them are not pleasant people. You hear them on The Bill O'Reilly Factor or in your grocery store, you read their insulting comments on bathroom stalls, and it all further proves their disgusting behavior. Is it simply human nature? Adolescent males? Is it the nurture that society provides to its users? I can't say for sure, but I know one thing: it makes me sick.

It's not only gamers, there are "unpleasant" people in every group, except it just happens that the annoying people are more noticeable and vocal on the internet.

People today act "nice" to each other because if they do not. Then they will not have a job or be in jail. These repercussion keep civilization in-line. When these repercussion are not in place(internet, 3rd world nation ect..) We see humans time and again at their worst.. People for whatever reason deep down want to act cruelly to each others. History even shows us this. Feudal lords were often very barbaric to there serfs. They did this despite having all their basic needs met and way more security then any common man. Yet they still subjugated there fellow man because they simply could.
