Is it any delay on this stream?
I tried hosting one and watch at the same time with tabbing out and it was about 10 sec delay or so. Was that only because it somehow bugged up since I watched myself?

The delay is always there, it's just the nature of the way its broadcast

Everytime I run xfire with SC it lags significantly. This is really frustrating, I'd love to stream.

Not network lag, heavy FPS lag. Impossible to play

Ah thanks for pointing out. I never knew about the delay and streams.

This could actually get intresting if someone refined the OP with a collection of everybodys stream URLs. And possibly a detailed description with race and iccup skill level. Also maybe at what time its most likely for your stream to be active.

this is working out but only if i launch sc through xfire

im on a laptop and there isn't lag when i broadcast
intel core 2 duo L7500 1.6ghz
intel X3100 gma965
windows 7 32 bit

im using high or medium settings in the broadcasting options

so yeah it's either launch through xfire without anti hack or launch iccup and not be able to broadcast :s

If you have a DX10-compatible graphics card, xfire streaming won't work for you. Try rage's mogulus guide!

Mogulus wont work either, its always dark when i stream bw. I think this is because i use a 22" WS TFT.

Woa.. 2 year bump ftw.
I suggest using ustream/justin etc instead. Xfire isn't really relevant atm. At least not in the sc2 community.

Clbull, I think you can stream and record video at the same time, it's just that their two different functions and it will probably severely reduce your game performance.

As for the service, I'd say it's really easy to use and setup, but the generally poor stream quality and poor functionality really hinder it. And for some reason, Xfire videos are huge files.

I've tried streaming with Ustream / Justin.tv and haven't been able to figure it out....ended up downloading some free 'webcam' program thing, but I could never get the quality set right. I guess I'll have to do some more digging to see exactly what programs people use...

Well I agree with what people are now saying about Xfire. It feels kinda crap.

Otherwise, I did a bit of looking around and found out that apparently people use Xsplit or Flash Media Live Encoder to stream with a Ustream or Jusin.tv account.

Destiny has a good tutorial showing how he streams (using FMLE)
