She was shy and didn't remove her bathing suit. getting a littler hard now for page 2 Q5: There is a grandfather clock that chimes the appropriate number of times to indicate the hour, as well as chiming once at each quarter hour. If you were in the other room and heard the clock chime just once, what would be the longest period of time you would have to wait in order to be certain of the correct time? ( Note: The clock is working properly and set at the correct time)

Q6: Art Conn had only $2, but he needed $3 for his cab fare home. Undaunted, he went to a pawn shop and pawned his $2 for $1.50. Art then bumped into Duncan Drivel and told him that he would sell him the $2 pawn ticket for $1.50. Duncan agreed. Since Art started out with $2, and he ended up with $3, who is out the extra dollar and why?

duncan agreed to buy the pawn ticket for 1.5 so art is up 1 dollar duncan is up .5 pawn shop is has the 2 dollars currently... but out 1.5.. which means .5 up.... but then duncan comes with 1.5 to raise pawn to 2 dollars, and loses two dollar.... so basically the pawn shop is down 1 dollar because art ended up 1 dollar up duncan ended up .5 up pawn shop first got 2 dollars in return for 1.5.... so .50 profit, but here comes duncan trying to trade in his 1.50 for the 2 dollars back, which means something along the lines of they dont actually have the 2 dollars.... they are down 1.5, but duncan comes backwith 1.5 to even out the balance, and they lose nothing............ wait wait wait this has got to be one of the funny ones. art lost 1 dollar because he sold 2 dollars for 1.50 twice. which ends up being a 1.00 profit loss.

Q7: Picture a ship at anchor. Over the side hangs a rope ladder with half meter rungs. The tide rises a half a meter per hour. At the end of five hours, how much of the ladder will remain above the water assuming that nine rungs were above the water when the tide began?
