loool... I suggested Waraku at East Coast or Katong to him because he wanted a decent, non 3 dollar meal.
And wtf is up with those dumbass hawkers... if they try hard enough they'll find bloody change. Order first, take the food, then give them the 50. Suddenly the change drawer stuffed full of small change will open.

or buy something at the supermarket/mama shop and break the $50 notes ^.^
cup noodles <--- taiwan's pwns whatever's available here. but i guess its still unhealthy stuff rite... and i guess healthy handy food like bread is kinda inferior hereabouts
the fast food chains do accept $50 notes, but don't be expecting supersizes xD
P.S. i duno the restaurants in bedok (other than a botak jones but i didnt really like the food there =p) unfortunately

botak jones is.... lol
it's a pretty common thing for white people to go to a country as foreign to them as Singapore is to an american and assume they are qualified to open an american food restaurant because they're american
their food is really bad

Somewhat true, but people always manage to smuggle in some from malaysia or other countries. Just don't put it anywhere after you're done chewing. I've never seen people get caught for eating gums anyway =/.

Wow, sounds like my kind of place. Chewing gum is nasty and it gets everywhere.
