When I am playing I am trying to win, or more importantly learn, a games flow and momentum are important for me to do that. I have never unpaused during the beginning of a game before the game has basically started, but when I am playing and the game has picked up to an aggressive pace, I usually just F10-R as if it where my next in game action without thinking. Not that I'm saying it's an accident but my mind is doing so much I just don't want to turn it off and wait, for me, it can change how I play the remainder of the game. | ||

This isn't fucking 1999, pointing out grammar errors doesn't work on the internet anymore. I don't think I have ever witnessed a player go afk when I unpause immediately, they either don't answer their phone or put off whatever they were going to do until the end of the game which is how it should be. To alter a quote from Boiler Room, a game of Starcraft isn't fucking Denny's, you can't just come and go as you please. If I'm playing someone I know of course I let them pause but to inconvenience myself and give the benefit of the doubt to every random I run into on iccup when over 80% of the people I talk to and get to know for 5 minutes I find marginally to extremely objectionable is just not something I feel the need to do. On a more personal level since you seem so desperate to bring it there, what the fuck is this: "its spelled 'allowed' and you're a dumbass." Like what if I just responded: "'A lot' is two words, there is no such thing as alot, and you're stupid." Are you so incapable of a civil conversation just because you disagree with me and think that I should offer patience to anyone I play whether I know them or not while I'm trying to do something I enjoy? People post stupid shit to me all the time but I've never seen someone be so dismissive and self-righteous while maintaining such obviously low quality posts. It's abundantly clear that you think all of your opinions are the cats friggin' pajamas, I'm not surprised you're trying to flame me because it's very obvious you enjoy expressing your superiority over people. However, considering I don't think I've ever seen you make a post that expressed a positive opinion of anything or anyone and I associate this with a "fuck everyone who hasn't proven they're worthy" mentality... I'm surprised you can't at least see my position that I am willing to fuck over people I don't know if it is to my liking... and it has nothing to do with a free win or I'd wait for them to go AFK. Reading the iccup forums is convincing enough that on average I could care less if someone has to delay whatever they wanted to go do. Having said that if someone said "omg dude my cat is meowing like crazy I have to let him out", I would absolutely not unpause until he got back. If someone has already been well mannered to me in some way, I will always let them pause. Straight up I just don't give people the benefit of the doubt, way too many objectionable people who play video games. Ever waited for someone to come back at an important moment and had them unpause without warning while you are stretching or some shit? I have, fuck that. | ||

It's not just 'being a prick' because normally not being a prick can be done passively and is not an inconvenience whereas I find that stopping my games mid-way through detracts from my experience. | ||
