Holding them with your feet with no previous stabbings? Hacking with a kitchen knife and nobody to tell the horror of that?

I can't believe you guys are still debating about whether it's possible to do this. This guy did it, so obviously it can be done.

I wonder when there will be updates on this story.

I'd imagine not til after the guy appears in court again. Most of the stories I read said the State lawyers told them not to give any more details until then. Can't figure out what could be so unusual/important to keep secret like that, but who knows.

Jesus christ. To behead somone with a kitchen knife.. thats just insanity. It means he cut her or stabbed her the first time, would have been showered with blood and then kept goin. As soon as he hits one of her carotid arteries, the amount of blood would have been insane. To keep cutting? Guy needs to be locked up and never released because he is NOT fit for interactions with people.

I hate it when people kill for no reason. There has got to be a motive.

Ugh how you could you possibly bring yourself to decapitate another human being unless you were mentally imbalanced in a very serious way

Unbelievable. Acts like that are beyond the scope of forgiveness. You'd have to be a truly benevolent soul to forgive him. well to me, beating someone bloody is insane yes, but then you didn't grow up in a war torn country did you? It was beat someone up or get beat up. Due to lack of parenting (fathers at war, mothers at work) children "managed" their own interactions. We weren't very ... hmmm.. how should I put it .. "experienced" at the age of 6. 4 years of that kind of environment and you learn to look after yourself. Even after we migrated to Australia I remember a lot of that stuff still used to happen. I sympathize with the African-American's for that simple reason. If my "idol" was 2pac and I had no daddy to keep me in check, I KNOW I'd grow up a thug too. In fact, I WAS a thug until education got to me. Thank god it did. Still can't process beheading someone tho. That's beyond the scope of my experiences and wildest nightmares.
MaZza[KIS] im wondering, which country are you from? I am from former jugoslavia, and i'm just lucky that my family migrated to canada before the civil war broke down.

That's some fucked up shit. She didn't get to live the university party life before she got her head chopped off.

This story is so sad It sucks that it happened and even worse at V-Tech they've had enough suffering.

There's something about that school. . .

You can say that again. I ain't going to V-Tech no matter what.

Um I also go to Virginia Tech and like tec27 I'm kinda disappointed in the warning system that we have here. I ended up finding out about it only through emails a few hours after the fact. When I did look at my inbox there was like 10 different messages from assorted faculty just forwarding the same message to different email lists. Also we have some sort of VT alerts system but is fairly poorly implemented. They made it so that if you register for classes on "hokie spa" you would be forced to either setup a VT alert account for your cell phone or decline the service before registering for classes. This was a perfectly fine feature except for the fact that you can also register for classes on the "myVT" website and never see the warning for VT alerts.
After this thing I finally have the VT alert thing setup for my phone since I figured I should get it and it would keep me in the know faster. I use myVT for registering and stuff so I didnt have it setup before.
Also our school is fine and this is not reason enough to avoid going to college here or anywhere. It is just an unfortunate reality that crazy people exist and that two of them just happened to end up going to school at VT.
edit:grammar errors. there are still a couple but i just fixed the big ones
