Hi there! My name is Kylene and I am a customer service representative for PrintMojo.com, the fulfillment center for Team Liquid. I’m afraid I have some bad news – and some good news too. The Team Liquid Pony Logo shirt was much more well received than anyone anticipated. The original 100 shirt run sold out in a matter of only 2 days! Unfortunately we received more orders than we had shirts to send and your order is one of the ones that we are unable to fill at this time. I am very sorry for the inconvenience. The Good News is that more shirts are being printed. Your order has been placed on our backorder list. It will be given priority and will be filled just as soon as we have the shirts in hand. If this is not acceptable you can feel free to contact me. We appreciate your understanding. Thank you for your business. T_T When I get one I will. I do have to say it looks good though.

Unless there's another way, like I could return mine for a medium in the next shipment of shirts. Then again I should just chill and see how it is when it gets here. That picture and the relativity of the shirt size to the objects in the garage worries me.

Every picture/description of large just makes me feel like a dwarf....GG would it be possible to send it back and ask for a medium, or would I have to go through with the process again and order it that way.

Why is it that all your responses to me are the consequence of a either limited reading comprehension or narrow interpretive faculties? I'll spell it out more clearly here: The social value of the tl.net logo is, for most instances, neutral, or, upon inquiry, possibly a social minus. In other words, it is approximately equal in value or slightly less to a blank white t-shirt. While this by itself doesn't equate to much in lost value, the loss of possibility of wearing a more prestigious logo makes the social cost of the t-shirt considerable. Generally we purchase something when we perceive its value to be higher than the monetary value demanded. Therefore the net loss of wearing a tl.net shirt must be calculated as follows: (value of preferred shirt - its monetary cost) - (value of tl.net shirt - its monetary cost)

It is safe to say that you are maximizing your social gain by wearing official TL apparel. If this is not your experience, it may be the view above the shirt that is hurting your value, rather than what drapes your frame.

It is safe to say that you are maximizing your social gain by wearing official TL apparel. If this is not your experience, it may be the view above the shirt that is hurting your value, rather than what drapes your frame. QFT I have to wait 4-6 weeks from the time of ordering so I guess that's another 2 and a half to 4 and a half weeks before I get mine. PS: I find it frankly a little disturbing that someone with under 10 posts ordered a shirt lol. Oh well. EDIT: Thanks for making me feel fat, 'chelle. You're not fat, don't worry

While this by itself doesn't equate to much in lost value, the loss of possibility of wearing a more prestigious logo makes the social cost of the t-shirt considerable. or perhaps i tried to do too much with this short sentence: No, rather than overreaching the point, you were simply being a poseur in calling "basic economics" something so universally obvious as the difference between price and value. Just another toddler-epiphany in didactic rhetoric. obviously such argumentation would make anyone associated with respectable intellectual circles wince. i really suggest enrollment in an economics 101 and acquainting yourself with a little basic economic theory before debating this stuff.

Just another toddler-epiphany in didactic rhetoric. obviously such argumentation would make anyone associated with respectable intellectual circles wince. i really suggest enrollment in an economics 101 and acquainting yourself with a little basic economic theory before debating this stuff. you completely missed the point. i obviously know what a status good is, the problem is with you implying that the tl.net shirt will become a status good in general, by a rise in its price. it is plain fact that the functional price in a veblen good is not the same as the purchasing price, but rather the socially recognized price of the good. these two may be equal, but not necessarily the same. class status goods are symbolic in function, meaning the market independent characteristics of a particular good must have already incorporated some level of association with wealth within a given society before we can say it is a status good. now, the fact of the matter is, a tl.net cotton shirt is not perceived to be of any value by the guys on the street, no matter how much you may have paid for it. further, you may find boasting about the tl.net shirt you brought for a million bucks difficult. rather than being a sign of your wealth and social status, that shirt may instead show you dont know how to spend your money. i gave the only reasonable interpretation of your comment on price and status, that within tl.net, a rise in the shirt's price may indeed make it a status good. yet you did not take that route. the rest is elementary. + Show Spoiler + seriously, you give ambiguous signals. are you trolling?

for the record, here's what i really think. moltke got done with a basic econ class, with the preference graphs and such, and basically made a troll post with some mistakes in it. i was amused enough to play along, aiming for some ironic effect. it hasn't gone as planned, although not all too bad for those paying attention. now i am a bit bored, so let's go on. the question is, why moltke is trolling first, utilitarian economic analysis is not found in moltke's general sincere sentiments as expressed in his post history. perhaps it is somehow in there, but i fail to see it up to this point. at least, we can say that the economist rhetoric is not sincere, but rather, pretentious. moltke's sincere attitude toward the shirt and to tl is tsundere, but the motivation for being contrarian in this instance is probably cultural. it is a sentiment i somewhat share, so i know where he is coming from with that. second, looking at the post in question, it is obvious that it will functionally troll. but why is it such a good troll post? not because of moltke's sincere attitude on the shirt, but because of the way it is set up, with all the flourish and jargon that obviously miss the entire point of the shirt being a community project. it appears to be a fresh perspective, but is in reality a brute act of noncooperation with the ongoing agenda. basic trolling. all in all, this incident is not all that serious.

you completely missed the point. Not at all. What you are describing is basically the difference between price and value. That is, overvaluation of a product. The price of a product is simply fixed by supply and demand, and but this demand does not need to be universal. Fashion caters to niches, and people who buy into certain trends may purchase social prestige within a confined social group, the gains in which will outweigh the respective decline of social prestige in the general population. Of course, a market of one will not derive any benefit at all from such an item, barring self-satisfaction, however, the tl.net logo is known among thousands of people across the world. With restricted supply, one may purchase sufficient prestige among this group which outweighs the net loss in general society. A copy of Action Comics #1 sells for over half a million dollars in comic book trading, yet not 1% of the population would pay such a price for the book, even so, it is a sound investment. Why? Because there are thousands of people who do demand the item and are willing to pay according to its content and rarity.

and, unless you are buying the shirt aiming to sell, supply and demand is rather irrelevant. your initial post could only be interpreted as saying that you would value the shirt if it 'bestowed status onto owner,' not if it 'earned a profitable return or fair priced purchase.'

copied my point about prestige in tl only, and surrendered the general contention altogether. Actually I was under the impression that I was teaching you a valuable lesson about how niche markets work. Your equation of majoritarian value with general value is a forgivable mistake, although your failure to own up to it is a bit dishonest. I thought that your pursuit of the obvious with the enthusiasm of a near-sighted detective could have benefitted from a view informed by a common sense free of myopia, but now I see the futility of fueling Voltarian sins- intellectual plagiarism with (in this case attempted) wit.

Revealing that I enter the value of communal prestige into the equation, thereby negating his hypothesis must have been rather shocking to his confidence as a character critic, which is not really a shortcoming. Good critics are shocked by new perspectives on each new reading of a complex book, but I have yet to read the critic who claims that Hamlet surrendered to his interpretation of Hamlet's own motives, rather than see his own former interpretive shortcomings. What's the point of reading anything- whether literature, history, or posts by tl.netters, if you enter the fray with a fixed interpretation? Another example of the inflation of opinion in democratic societies where many speak, few listen.

the only part of your post i questioned was this, "if the prices were increased as to endow its possessor with exceptional economic class" the analysis i gave is straightforward, look into it and try to find a contention about market value. you will find none. the point you made is not an economic one anyway, but one within social theory. the functional aspect of price in this case is social recognition of value, not the purchasing price. an increase in purchasing price does not translate into recognized value in all situations. you've got this about 540 degrees backward. just a hint, words that look similar work in different ways, consumer theory and price equilibriums are not the same. anyway, good night.

the functional aspect of price in this case is social recognition of value, not the purchasing price. an increase in purchasing price does not translate into recognized value in all situations. Your approach to this is 800 degrees backward, if not 1160. The goal here is to determine whether the value desired could be created in this particular circumstance. and not whether value can be simply increased with price as an economic law. Nowhere have I suggested that charging $5000 for a paperclip would raise the value of the paperclip to that amount. I think this is the third time I've had to repeat something so obvious. Now, we can both agree that socio-economic prestige on these forums is worth an exclusive and inflated price, and only someone with a cynical, contrarian, non-cooperative attitude regarding this community would rate the value of adulation from this community at beneath its proper value, no? And here we find something awfully complex about human nature. Simone Weil once wrote that we cannot know the impersonal except through the personal, and the collective, never. It had always seemed likely that oneofthem superimposed his own true motives on me, and by casting me as a contrarian, he was attempting to analyse his own cynical and contemptuous character. His refusal to acknowledge the value of prestige in the community of tl.net confirms this buzzing suspicion, and his habit of imposing his own qualities on others is the moral equivalence of those war criminals who attempt to sidestep conviction by casting evidence against others.

You guys should have prolly just made shirts for the staff untill you had enough supply. Getting bored checking the thread every day for new info. Don't get me wrong, you guys are awsome and those who worked on this deserve alot of credit for doing it, but its taking so long that my enthusism is waning

subject Your PrintMojo.com order has been shipped. Hi Armin, Thank you for order #43106 from: TeamLiquid. Your order has been shipped. For US based shipping addresses, it can take anywhere from 1-7 business days for the courier you selected to deliver your order. International orders could take 2-3 weeks for delivery. If you have any questions regarding this order, reply to this email or send us an email to: pm.customer@printmojo.com. You can also call us toll free 1-866-601-MOJO (6656). -- That says the order was shipped on the 9th, that was only two weeks ago (and I bought one about 20 minutes after the post), I haven't been to work (which is where the shirts are being shipped) for the last week. I wouldn't be surprised if the shirts are there when I go back on Monday. But if you're living in the US, then meh. Contact printmojo and QQ, contact details are above.

Please be udnerstanding and not confuse this as some type of 'rawr u guys didn't do enough and im ungratefull because blah blah kinda post. We just love tl <3

ordered a shirt about a month ago, can i get my money back if you're not going to send it? You're not gonna want to hear this, but I didn't even order a shirt and I got one. It's probably yours. I know it's not much, but as consolation I offer you and others who do not have a TL shirt the opportunity to paste your head on this photo. Maybe I'm not as good looking as you, and I'm sorry I wore my awful yellow sweater today (I have to wear it every time I play Donkey Kong, or I just don't feel right), but it's better than nothing. I hope you find some joy in it. ![[image loading]](http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/8428/tlyaymn0.jpg) PS: I think my Fonz pose leaves a lot to be desired.

edit: I don't think it's THAT big, it's not like baggy or anything imo . it does run down past my belt quite a bit though, so it might just be the length and not the width of the shirt. I think if you're like 5'6 or something you're fucked.

A few notes that prospective shirt buyers might find useful: 1. I ordered from the second batch of shirts. 2. The shirt is a medium. I'm 6'1'' pretty average build but I don't like my shirts baggy and I heard the larges were pretty large, so I went with a medium. As you see it in the picture it's not washed, but I'm going to try my best to avoid shrinkage. 3. PrintMojo gave me excellent service. Sometimes I accidentally input my PO Box address for UPS ground. Instead of just passing my shipping information on blind to UPS like virtually all other online vendors, PrintMojo called me and nicely asked for an alternate address before they shipped my order. That saves me the hassle of contacting UPS when I realize they won't deliver to a PO Box. 4. I'm in the bay area and the shirt arrived approximately 23 hours after it shipped! Sweet! When I saw the logo I thought it might be a bit on the loud side, but it turns out it's quite small relative to the shirt size so I think it looks swell. EDIT: I guess the second batch has smaller logos? I'm glad for it, anyway. Happy shirt buying!

I rly dislike small picture because it feels like a T-shirt printing company logo rather than an integrated art.

Hey guys, Can you do me a favor and PM me if you want a shirt (other than the ones that are still up in the store). Let me know your size and if you want the big or small logo so I can start taking inventory for future batches. I don't like white shirts either, but it worked out in my head like this: White shirt = -10 cool points only $10 as opposed to the usual $20 for a shirt = +10 cool points Being a team liquid shirt = +20 cool points Having a totally badass design that will 100% guaranteed help me pick up chicks = +10 cool points. Thus I end up with the shirt giving me +40 cool points despite it being white. Ergo (lulz) I had to buy it asap. However, a shirt that would give +55 cool points (without the -10 for white and with the +5 for black) would require a second purchase :D

I already have one similar to that, so I guess it wouldn't hurt. The only problem is I hate it when as tank runs a little low. I think it'll be exactly like my designer one. Pony, ribbed top running low for breastises = phun time!

It's Alexi Laiho, Roope Latvala, Marco Hietala (in case you don't know him he's the bassist from Nightwish and Tarot... and his singing is amazing as well), Kimberly Goss, and some drummer (lol I'm such an asshole). Roope was actually in Sinergy with Alexi (starting on sinergy's second album, "To Hell And Back") before he joined COB.

Anyway, I have the pony too but its in the wash right now. Excuse the camera I had nobody to take a picture for me, roomates gone =( Both are mediums. I'm 5'10 175lb. I want to see Day[9] in his small CJ shirt. I got my large today, and it's probably the right size for me if I wear a tight shirt under it, and I'm only 5'7". I do lift a lot, but I really doubt my arms would fit in a medium (at 145lb). Day is taller than tasteless if I remember correctly, and he got a small. I was actually gonna make a thread to trade with someone until I tried mine on and realized I still want to gain weight. Hopefully he's slim enough that his fits. Also, I think I'm starting to like the white better than the black, so long as I wear a black shirt under it. The only problem with the large is that the neck hole is 21 inches around. My neck is disproportionately large, but the shirt still makes it look tiny. That's why I'll have to wear a shirt under it. No pics yet though.

So I finish my hotdog and ofc, I dropped some mustard/catsup on my shirt in 3 spots. >.< I took it off and tried to like suck the stain out then run it through hot water and a little handsoap. (dont have the stain remover shit on hand). It kinda came out but there is still a little yellowish spot T_T

Joking of course, but if I had the money, I'd definitely do it.

Min order is 24 (of one product, any combination of sizes), though they'll cost about $3 more apiece than if we can order 100+. If people want a new design we can probably do that eventually. And in theory we can order any product listed here (TL scrubs anyone? :p) edit: updated, no more medium winged horse shirts edit2: updated, no more winged horse shirts
