- it will be a good story to follow and see how he responds to hpv infection treatments - I wonder if systemic interferon-alfa wouldn't be a better idea instead of the vitamin A they mentioned (I suspect they really meant to say isotretinoin not vitamin A) - odd that the local docs didn't give it a try, or even biopsy it or test it - I guess they weren't kidding about him living in a "remote" part of Indonesia because they do have decent hospitals and docs, all he really he had to do is show up at one, most docs will see and take care of interesting cases for free anyway.

He is also poor, so on top of the fact that his choices are limited due to location and nation, he also has the money issue.

A while back I read about a girl who was pricked by a cactus and began growing thorns from her skin. I found a link: http://www.fuchsiashockz.co.uk/articles/wonders/narine_aivasyan_-_the_plant_girl.php

He still lives with his family on his home soil. He stays true to his roots and is blossoming into quite a man. He really has quite tough skin and doesn't seem to be afraid of much. And from what his wife tells me, he sure doesn't have much trouble getting wood. He damn sure has become one with nature and tries to live within his environment. I really envy this guy... but did he have to take me literally when I told him to "make like a tree and leave" ? I heard that his wife had to leave him because her interests branched out into other areas, while he was deeply rooted on the basic principles. That kind of division can sew the seeds for a divorce in any couple. I imagine it'd also be a big thorn in her side to have to deal with him, the way he is. However, I like him because he seems like a very down-to-earth kind of guy. And to people who are doubting the potential of HPV, it's not a dog whose bark is worse than its bite. It is hard to imagine that the whole problem stems from a childhood accident, though. Let's all root for him to get better! 2 4thewin, but I think tesismech takes the prize..
