David, not a shill for Trump, Nunes has sued Twitter and some of its users for 250 million. This very serious congress member that has in no way been leaking information about investigations to the White House has gone after twitter for “shadow banning conservatives” and being mean to him. Save this story for whenever our boy Nunes is brought up in any other context, for it will never not be relevant. https://twitter.com/yashar/status/1107770797731401729 Another account named as a defendant was "Devin Nunes' Cow," or @DevinCow, which purportedly called Nunes a "treasonous cowpoke" and an "udder-ly worthless" criminal. Outrageous indeed

It is like this mother fucker doesn’t know he is up for re-election in 2 years. This is bat shit crazy and a small taste of what is contained in the Bounty. It cites Harry Potter. The exhibits are already legends. We are blessed.

It is March of 2019. We have another 21 month at least if the conservatives being in the minority. Let’s hope this is a preview of how they will spend their time now that they can’t fuck over the government institutions at their whim.

In a 2009 radio segment, Carlson joked about growing up in a castle, saying that one thing you learn when you “look out across the moat every day at the hungry peasants in the village” is that “you don’t wanna stoke envy among the proletariat.” The host then asked if having an African-American “shining the rims on your Bentley” doesn’t invoke envy, to which Carlson replied, “I only have, you know, American, white servants.” He explained, “It’s not because I’m racist, it’s because I’m not. It’s because I feel better beating them, you know what I mean?” Moments before the back-and-forth, Carlson was talking about how he had just been hired at Fox News. theintercept.com That went downhill fast and then drifted before going off a cliff.

His rhetoric recently has seemed to be getting even more authoritarian than in the past and his supporters lap it up while people on the left don't even blink. Likewise when people call him a compulsive liar or insane. People don't even react when that's brought up anymore, despite the fact that it's absolutely terrifying because of how much power he has. It's just an accepted thing that he's a probably insane, incredibly childish idiot who could end the whole world if he wanted, and probably would if it would save him getting humiliated. The thing people feared in 2016 about the craziness and constant chaos being normalized has fully come to pass. For a rational person who actually cares about the world, that's terrifying. The thing that stuck with me the most about Cohen's hearing was at the end when he said he was concerned Trump might not hand over power should he lose the 2020 election. I could not only see that happening, but I could see the Republicans completely going along with it. They no longer bother even trying to look like they care about the US being a democracy anymore.

It might even set the stage for Trump claiming the election was stolen or he's the real winner if the vote counts had been tallied as they should.

Last week or a couple weeks ago they both claimed that their elections were stolen by the GOP. Abrams said "I did win my election. I just didn't get to have the job." Gillum on Maher "Had we been able to legally count every one of those votes not just in Florida but in Georgia, I wonder what the outcome may be." It might even set the stage for Trump claiming the election was stolen or he's the real winner if the vote counts had been tallied as they should. He would do that anyway. Even when he won the electoral college he still claimed that he was also the real winner of the popular vote.
