All that said, I would sit him down and have a serious talk with him. MOST people in this world are surprisingly understanding if you make an honest reasonable request of them. If you tell him in a stern but not overly hostile manner that what he did was not appreciated in the least and to not repeat it in the future, he may actually stop. If he doesn't, then it's time to declare war. Diplomacy first though. By the way, how computer/tech savvy is he? I can think of a few things to do that may complicate his life a bit if you want to get back at him. Should the situation require it. | ||

Seriously, man the fuck up and tell him to shut the fuck up and use his headphones, not to use teamspeak, and not to bother you when you're obviously otherwise engaged. Don't make a thread about it so that a bunch of other socially awkward nerds can give you ways to get around it without being an asshole: he himself is a douchebag according to you so bitchslap the cockblocking clown around some. If you already don't like him this shouldn't be hard to do. If I seem mad I'm not really, but I know so many people in real life like you who whine about their roommate but never ever do anything about it | ||

In in general, why didn't you ask him to use his headphones earlier? If you hadn't said that his WoW bothers you at all, then you've been giving him months of positive reinforcement that him doing whatever doesn't bother you. Thus, it soon becomes okay for him to play with loud sound, etc., maybe even when you have a girl over. Right now, confronting him is a little late, don't you think? -_-;; Personally, I hate it when people have other people over in the room, so at least consider that (and how you haven't been previously sending the right message) before you tear him a new asshole or something as you should. | ||

You should always be offering... never asked for. Always give things to people when you want them to have it... not when they want you to give it to them. Your friend asked you if he could use the internet... and you said yes. So he used it. He didn't KNOW that you didn't want him to, because HE ASKED YOU, and YOU SAID YES. When that little interchange takes place, HE CANNOT BE BLAMED FOR DOING THE THING HE ASKED YOU. This is logic 101. So go on... plan some petty revenge because you feel slighted. But then don't blame ME when it back fires in your face. And don't blame me if you think for it a second and realizing you're acting exactly like a woman would. Sometimes you just have to man up, realize what went wrong, and go take the girl out for a night on the town. Wow her with a fancy restaurant and a romantic movie and she'll be dying to sleep with you; just make sure you ask your room mate A COUPLE DAYS IN ADVANCE to go play WOW at his friends house.  Dunno though, it's a 3 room suite? Maybe things are different. But if they aren't then some sort of cooperation is probably better than just saying "get the fuck out". IdiotWind, if GI's suite is anything like the one I live in, then the door automatically locks when you close it. However, people who live in the suite with you has a key to it. Also, GI did hint the guy to leave the first time. The second time, he assumed his roommate would be quick on the internet and then leave, so that was the only reason he allowed it. I'd probably just try to tell him nicely since another 3 months of this would be hell. | ||
