First of all, you don't need a lot of money to dress nice. You don't have to be wearing Diesel jeans or Versace jacket to look 'fresh'. Even if you only shop at 'Industry' you can still look awesome with simple choice of color cordination and design. I personally prefer V-neck to round neck and strong colors, often contrasting. If you're into hiphop clothing, I suggest Omarion's style of clothing such as simple tight top and big belt buckle, strong colored semi-baggy jeans, big sneakers and long shiny, simple chain that comes down to your belly button. ![]() ![]() Second of all, I'd still attend college even if you pursued other paths. I would not rely on graffiti as my main source of income, Get any job and make enough money to buy DJing equipment. Befriend with someone who can DJs at your school or local DJs if you can. I would learn about DJing and work on weekends as DJ whilst attending college. From time to time, you could also work on your graffiti as well. Lastly as all the hiphop related jobs are age sensitive and limited, as a long term goal, you could probably open up a hip hop store where you sell hiphop clothing, accessories, DJing equipment, graffiti sprays, CDs and all that jazz. Whatever you do, if you give your best and try your best you'll reach somewhere.

They sell Industry cheap and the quality isn't too bad. the flagship store sells tees for like 70 dollars and jackets and pants 200+. the cheapest thing in the store is 50 which is a scarf ~_~. economical brand i think = kenji urban and such. do you know if there is a website or a phone number where i can call to order stuff direct from sydney?

DONT COME TO TL LOOKING FOR ADVICE & SUPPORT, BUNCH OF HATERS IS WHAT YOU'LL FIND. And man I would tell you: get into the local hip hop scene if your really into it. There are probably loads of sick young emcees around your area that wouldn't mind another supporter. Keep your head up. Buy used clothes from yardsales and goodwill, if you put time into it you can find great looking 2ndary brands that look basically as sick as the name brands - you'll save thousands of dollars in the end, and won't get caught up in the consumer cycle of the rat race. If high school is not your thing: consider dropping out and educating yourself and perhaps going straight to college. Highschool is for suckers anyway. I got friends who dropped out as sophmores and had college degrees before they were 20. FOCUS ON WHO YOU WANT TO BE, DONT TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHO YOU ARE. good luck bro, peace

Although more and more graff writers are becoming famous due to internet etc. My only advice to you is from 2 little girls I saw on the Montel Williams show earlier today. " Don't try to copy what celebrities or hollywood does, be yourself and start your own trends. After all, the people setting the trends are the famous people. Paris Hilton didn't get that way from copying others. She started her own trends."

And that means no constrains or restrictions, which goes a lot into not having a job(or only a crappy one) and not really spend quality time in school. What you probably want is the feeling to be liberated. Just try to find any interesting creative hobby, something new with a trainer to teach you - it can be anything really(sport, art, music, dancing, whatever...) Ask yourself a question : Do you see yourself through your eyes or other people's eyes?
