Ah, nostalgia.. This thread reminds me of having epic group battle games of Tekken 3 baked with friends. Also just the random creative stuff you end up doing- making a sculpture in my friend's backyard, or one of those spontaneous jams where everyone picks up an instrument and everything meshes, the 10 minute can't stop laughing fits, word-association chains, walking over sand-dunes when the wind picks up and huge snakes of sand are blowing everywhere, running along forest paths on an abandoned railway line, skipping school and going to an amusement park and buzzing out on all the stupid amusement park stuff, swimming in the ocean scenery around you making you feel like you're in a movie, no talking allowed during 'the Unforgiven', making out with a girl stoned in the back of a friend's car in a carpark outside a dodgy pool hall, playing rugby at night in the park barely able to see from the streetlights. Well a lot of good times from the last two years of high school to the first two years of uni. Later got paranoid and stopped.

Same here. I wish I still could enjoy it, but I can't. I find this is very common amongst regular users - they have great highs for a while, then gradually the highs aren't as enjoyable, and the paranoia and anxiety starts to overwhelm most of the "highs", and sometimes even carry over into sober life. Not fun.

I didn't mean heroin, crack, coke, or speed BTW when I said "no more getting high... from pot at least". I mostly meant using ecstasy a few times a year.

Varies depending on the person. For me, paranoid about nearly everything. I imagined a lot of things were wrong with my mind and my body, and I couldn't convince myself otherwise, no matter how irrational. It was like having an irrational fear, knowing it, but being totally unable to escape the feeling. Tough to explain... but if you ever feel it, you know how awful it is.

I seriously would sometimes write on a piece of paper something like "I am not dying", look at it, and still feeling like I'm dying.

hey im so faded righ tnow. i was at this crazy party in newport beach and there were like 30 people in this one house and we were smoking out of a volcano. it was my first time with the thing, so i got uber fucked up. i had like 4 huge deep gigantic spectaculr fantabulous shizzniziest fucking tokes.

i had an out of body experiance, and walk to the beach. the beach was actually the coast of hell as everything is in a dark shade of existance. there was no light, desolate sand, no people, and biting cold wind that seems to reach into the depths of your soul and flirt with death itself. me and my friend were seeing people who werent there, like the poles and random shit in the shore looked like people. now it is like 4 in the morning and we are back in my friends dorm room and we played super smash brothers melee and now he is passed out, which i will be soon, and i will have wished i got my bauhaus cd from the car that i played for all my friends.

but i will just have to listen to a different cd. but i dont know fucking what. maybe infected mushroom, ya that sounds good right now. some infectd mushrooom. lsdkaj;sd;asd.

I just got back from the police station

had to walk about a mile in the freezing cold.

we got stopped at a random checkpoint and were routinely searched. turns out some kid brought a backpack with him that i didnt know about and inside this backpack was like 5ozs of weed and some cash.

the cops thought it was mine and kept questioning me hardcore after they saw i had like 100 some dollars in my wallet. I simply told them i was a baller, they understood and stopped questioning me.

the sketchy part was the kid had stashed some cash up his sleeve haha and the cops saw it and pulled it all out of there. The kid was a rat, though, and didnt admit it was his so I didnt feel bad calling him out on that shit. They were going to charge me with a felony and take all my money+impound my car/kick me out of school. Fuck that.

all i know is those handcuffs were tight as fuck untill they redid it so my hands were in front of me.

(I got off nearly without any charges, and with nothing on my record)

You know they have no right to search you without probable cause, right? They can ask you if it's OKAY to be searched, but you do not need to consent. If they don't see any drug paraphenelia or otherwise obvious evidence of intoxication, you do not need to consent to a search. Know your rights bro!

it was probably pretty obvious we were intoxicated and i knew for a fact i didnt have any shit on me or in my car so i did not care if they searched or not.

i knew i was clean and the other guy in the car who i cared about was fairly clean so no need to sketch it up by saying no

They cannot search you for saying no to a random search. Don't let them intimidate you into unreasonable searches.

Fairly clean? That doesn't sound very promising. You never know what your friends might have with them. You have nothing to gain from them searching and everything to lose. You really shouldn't want to get involved in a situation where someone you are in the same car with is being searched while he has many ounces of illegal drugs on him.

You're lucky you got off as clean as you did.

im just saying, they had probable cause. no need to be a dick about it and tell them to gtfo. ive watched cops enought to know my rights.

and i had no idea the kid even had a bag with him. he jumped into the car last minute right before we left.

I even told the cops the bag was mine when they asked me (because i DID have an empty one in the back) - but later realized it wasnt mine when they told me the brand name and got that straightened out.
