so now i just want to tell you, that im gonna start to DM a D&D campaign, the players will start in a disturbed village, who suffers constant attacks from orcs, bugbears, a dragon, and an evil mage, the players will be the ones who came there to change that, so they basically have the task of giving an heroic proportion ass kicking on those guys. The village is attacked because it has a sacred fountain, witch can heal any desease, and people there are very old and wise, but get attacked a lot by bandits who seek to steal theyr treasures. | ||

You should have a kindly village elder who will help the party, but turn out to be a doppleganger, and he betrays the party to the evil wizard, and the town doesn't trust the party because they were in league with the doppleganger. Or maybe I'm just cruel to my parties. | ||
